You have to keep getting up (often individually if you don't want to leave your handbag or carry it with you) and the waiters are always ready to pounce the second your plate is empty! Hmmmm, maybe we'll save it for the next group night out then, and go to our favorite Indian or Mexican instead. Thanks ladies.:beer:0 -

I love buffets as I get to control what and how much is on my plate! I'd rather go several times for small portions instead of lots on my plate at once.
I've only been to one do with a chocolate fountain, it was a small family wedding it was the biggest hit, it was served as everyone was arriving. There was someone there serving they had a selection of thing to choose from fruit and cakes etc they then picked it up on a wooden skewer put it in the fountain and gave you tray to catch the drips that's what Katie is dipping into below.Proud to be dealing with my debts

. Chocolate fountains are definitely ick, unless it's a mini one at home and only family eating from it!
_pale_ I know what you mean and the more I think about it the more I'm thinking _pale_!
And I'm now thinking of the unwrapped mints/sweets in a bowl at restaurants and other peoples fingers _pale__pale__pale_
PS: does anyone else sanitise their hands immediately after putting the shopping trolley back, or is that just me?!

Mental note of kiddy teabags xxxI keep forgetting to ask this! Why would you cook bolognese in the slow cooker when it only takes 20 mins on the hob?
LOL - I have been wondering the same thing for ages!! xxWhy are chocolate fountains so ming? Surely people don't bite into the strawberry then coat it in choc, do they? _pale_
LOL - I once saw a kid stick his tongue in one  and there are always kids with their fingers in them (holding onto a marshmallow!!) Even if someone has just been manhandling their strawberry onto a stick then putting it under the choc then it is too much for me!
I am not a big choc eater though so I guess if you liked choc then the want might outweigh the urgh I guess
PLUS - the choc is mixed with up to 50% sunflower oil _pale_ now would you dip your strawberry in THAT
LOL - SM I have seen the places with bowls with tons of fingers in too!! 'Tis a pet hate of mine because it is so minging so I tend to end up watching it going 'urgh' :rotfl:please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120
