  • Sami - love the cake.

No DOI in this house we're currently watching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

I started letting Katie have taste of things like apples (licking the juice off the surface, suck a grape etc) from about 5 months but nothing proper solid food until she was 25 weeks she was happy on milk up until then.

I impressed myself I've done my weekly shop for £48! Lunches and dinners.

I made the twice stuffed roast chicken from Economy Gastronomy and it was very tasty and we have plenty of leftovers for rubber chicken.

Does anyone know if Wacky Warehouse provide the cake for their birthdays?

Er ... I'm not feeding Andrew any juice (C or NFC, diluted or otherwise ;) ) yet, should I be? And presumably it's better from a sippy-cup of some kind?

Never had to give Miss A any, and cos she's formula fed now she should be getting some but is totally not interested. Again, calorie content of milk is higher than empty calory - tummy filling juice.

is this not a good/recommended thing to do??
    i thought i could....

I gave the boys normal well diluted NAS squash. Amber will get the same. Dunno what 'they' say about it, probably that their intestines will grow legs and run off or something.

Sami, love the cake! Now fess up, who fell on their !!! to inspire it?

I've voiced my opinions on 'early' weaning before  :rotfl:

Speaking off, Amber helped herself to my chocolate gateux, she just lunged for it, stuck the hands in then screamed when I tried to clean them. So she got left sucuking her chocolate covered hands and I devoured the remains of my cake, ha!

  • Hiya ladies - tons to catch up on. Benjamin has been a little star over the last couple of days :A although quite clingy to me, not in a mardy way but just wanting cuddles all the time. I think I have had more cuddles in the last 2 days than I have in the last 2 months!!

Hi bens mum - I think some tough love is in order. He needs to learn to go to sleep on his own and learn that he can't come in with you, otherwise you will end up with a toddler, child and teenager in bed with you later on. My DSS is 10 on Thursday and he still gets in with his mum every night - however, when he stays with us he sleeps through and doesn't even wake...because he knows he wouldn't get away with it here.

Does he sleep in his own room?

are the police going to go round to him
They said they have enough to arrest him, I forgot to say, when they were doing house to hous checks a couple of neighbors said he's been going there in the last few weeks, think staying too, so I've been forced out of my home and that cheeky bastage has been staying there without me knowing!
I had the locks changed then he broke in, it was stupid of be beause I didnt lock the door properly, it's a PVC one and I was under the impression that they were safe but didnt realise itneeded to be locked properly, so one kick was all it wold of taken for him to gain access.

DKAM do you know the serial number of the TV? Would the police go check his new TV to see if they match?

I suppose getting some large acquaintances to steal it back isn't an option?
Well, I'm pretty sure that if it was him who nicked it his new bird must of taken it in her car as he'd picked her up on the friday evening, so I'm going to phone the police tommorrow and tell them that it might be at her house, but I dont know her address, all I know is that it's in Andover.

Ooooh, just heard some gossip from my old job - when I left they got someone to replace me for half my job (I did the equivalent of two fulltime jobs - audio typing and admin - and didn't get a payrise ) but farmed the other out to the girl whose desk was across from mine. The second job was very intense - head of administration for a department - and the other girl was very nice but not the smartest. Anyway, she got behind with booking patients in for appointments, so instead of asking for a temp for a week she just took half the referral forms and hid them in her desk  So half the patients on the list never got called for their scans because only she knew she'd hidden their papers, and she didn't catch up enough to rescue them at any stage. Anyway, someone called to find out !!!!!! was going on and the whole story came out.

Had to share. As you were :)

Edit: OMG DKAM, that barstool! And how did he get another woman?!?
