Bizarre - they wouldn't have your details if you'd not applied. Unless, is there any possibility the Ex has applied to pay? It can happen!

Actually, is he already paying for the other two via the CSA? If he is, he may have informed them of the Amber to keep them up to date iykwim?

If he's taking home £185 and already paying for 2 others through the CSA, you'd get £14.33 per week :j:rolleyes:. This wouldn't effect your IS (or anything else!).

I can say with confidence that there's absolutely zero chance of him contacting them himself :rotfl:
But he was paying via the CSA in his last job for the other kids and then when he was claiming JSA for a bit, not sure if he is now cos i looked at his bank statement and it showed no outgoings and his full wage going in every week

They possibly have something on file for my DS cos i contacted them back in 2003 and had a letter asking me to explain where my ex was even though already said i didn't know) and i've had a grand total of £0 but i didn't chase it as i didn't really want anything from that ex.... So could it be something to do with that? Tis very strange. Unless of course, they were ringing me about DS but that would be freaky after almost 7 years of nothing :rotfl:

Thank you - i had no idea how much it'd be, so with Amber's money and if he pays for the other 2, he's going to be heartbroken, he's riddled with debt nowadays, good incentive for him to stay an 'ex' i think!
  • happy birthday for chris for tomorrow sami .. hope he has a great day and gets spoilt rotten :D ...

I'd say its a bizarre coincidence and they must be calling about DS!
Especially as you've not claimed CB for Amber yet - they can't do anything until you've got your CB number. Maybe they've traced ex-ex?im?

If he's taking home £185 - the total payable is £43.00 a week, but this is split equally between all three children.

As I said, if you need anything, PM me.

I'm really off to bed now. xxx

  • Straws - I think Katie was about 7/8 months old when she discovered straws, she grabbed my McD's Strawberry Milkshake and started gulping away - it has now developed into a full on love if she can drink through a straw she will, we have a box in the cupboard and she even asks for a particular colour!

Sami - Happy Birthday for Chris, boo that DH is in Aberdeen and can't get home - positive spin Chris celebrates twice once with mummy then with mummy and daddy.

My tickets for The Gruffalo live have arrived just need to keep them somewhere rememberable and safe for the next 4 months!
Proud to be dealing with my debts
    DD Katie born April 2007!
3 years 9 months and proud of it

MDW - Chris is the same, today he had to have a red straw to match his red smoothie :p
