That might not be helping, but it is very watery (with great big lumps of the food she is eating in it!), which doesn't seem right. (and lots of them!) Will speak to HV on Thursday while I'm there anyway.

Yeah, Rhys just laughs at me when I say Mummy.. it's great, my child thinks I'm a joke! :cool: :rotfl::rotfl:

When I clap in front of Rhys he just tries to catch my hands or sticks his nose out so I can pat it! :rolleyes:

All this talk of hoovers, does anyone have any recommendations for a hand held one? Im sick of getting the full sized one out everytime Rose has bread/ toast etc to hoover up the crumbs x

back after sorting out ..
i can afford my washing definately end of feb without leaving myself reaally tight so we'll make do til then i see it as a workout last time i did hand washing i went from a size 18 to a size 8 so maybe not a bad thing .. gonna talk a few things out when philip gets paid and we find out how much hes getting reserve abit back and then add it to my pay at the end of feb if all goes well (she says fingers crossed) everything else well friends .. im not sure im gonna play that by ear and work wise just think how i used to im there to make money and not to make friends i can close myself off its ok ..

rose is gorgeous and i live the bookshelf angela x

We started like that. Everytime id clap Rose would just grab my hands so i let her hold onto mine and clap with me. She then started doing it on her own but only when she thought we wernt looking:rolleyes: Then got braver and done it infront of us x

if shes in her highchair .. splashmat .. if sat on the floor blanket x

Evening everyone,

I've not had chance to do a proper catch up.

Clapping - with DD I would sit her on my knee facing me hold her hands and sing "Here come daddy with a pocket full of plums ALL for KATIE!" followed by a big tickle - she still loves that game now!.

Favourite phrase of the day - I don't know - in response to any question

We're having fun getting in and out of the house as both the front and back doors locks are playing up - locksmith been out today and is coming back tomorrow to fix them both.

DD is growing up, I phoned the playgroup this evening that I want her to go to in September.

I've also updated my budget with the CCCS only another 5 years to go and I'm debt free!

FWIW, Elijah learned to clap at 11 months or so, and they didn't test it at his 8 month check!

We have just bought a black and decker dustbuster from argos for this very purpose...I think it was about £26. We bought it yesterday and used it yesterday eve and tody, seems to be good it is a wet and dry one too:)
