    yep!

Searchie, about the washing machine, I got a freezer for £55 new from comet clearance, which is an auction type site who do deliveries. They have washing machines too. The stuff is all warrantied and fully working but ex-display or with a little dent in it. Didn't bother me!

Just thought that might be a bit more manageable than a new full price one....

The other thought I had was that if you responded to a freecycler with a 'I'd love this washer but I have no transport, can I give you £10 for your trouble in bringing it.....' well they can only say 'no' eh? :rotfl:and a lot of freecyclers just want stuff to have a useful home so they might even drop it off without a charge.

Just 2 thoughts I had when I was thinking about you earlier :)

i;ve never heard of this website before.. i need a new cooker (not desperately but soon and poss new washer as well...oh what the heck a washer drier would be perfick)

ooooh my DH will want him for a case study! Which will be so very easy to arrange when you move to Cardiff:j:j:j (mustn't get hopes up! :rotfl:)

puree-wise we just add a little bit of water and boil down til it's a mush with lumps (fergie has always liked a few lumps) I think Benjamin did too, but Jayden and seth from memory prefer smooth... I think Kai changes his mind :) So you'll know best how Jack will like it :)

Nah, Kai doesn't like lumpy or smooth:confused: He will not eat anything that requires a spoon (apart from sharing ice-cream with me:rolleyes:)

We are having spaghetti bolognese today I am making it with pasta twirls and will just sort of coat Kai's pasta in the sauce and leave him to eat it himself, I will of course give him a spoon but that only gets used as a hammer:p

OMG I am so annoyed, waiting on for a delivery and it still hasn't arrived, Parcelforce and I got a txt this morning saying they will be here between 7am-6pm!!!

always the way Mel - if you'd gone out they would have called! Sod's law.

oh, I don't have a black eye - it's a stye and me no likey!

re bottled water - my sister has to use it cos my dad's water is undrinkable. spring well which is flucked and he won't fix even though he can! Water is orange due to so much copper - fine to bathe in but not drink.

I think you can use spring water but not mineral water - or its the other way around

SM, google "man with a van sheffield" for local services.. looking about £25-30 for collection/delivery/loading/unloading. Not bad if you find on on FreeCycle. Put a wanted on FC too, don't wait for an offer ad..

ETA: This one says local jobs from £10, even better!

I just boil veg as normal, keep checking until knife just goes through it. Have to say that whilst so little I do buy the friut in Heinz tubs (pk 4) as it gives a good range. Hence her having Mango rice pudding. Baby sauce was the Cow and Gate I think, *goes to check*.

    Hello everyone,

I havent been on for a few days as Isla's been in fab moods so days have been spent singing and playing :D She now loves her starlight swing and baa baa black sheep!

Im sorry but Ive no chance of reading back so generic hugs, well dones, get well vibes etc as needed to all :o

Im after a bit of advice please if anyone can help though, Im due to have a tooth out next week under sedation which I'd completely forgotten about. Ive been expressing and freezing but havent had need to give Isla a bottle for maybe 3 weeks. Until then she'd been fine with the odd bottle of EBM but now she's on bottle strike. Ive tried TT CTN & MAM breastlike bottles sofar and she screams the house down and wont take a drop. Can anyone suggest any other bottles that have worked for them?

Also, will I have to pump and throw any milk from while Ive been sedated?
