Thanks Millies Mum, so I don't get why it says on the First Choice website that there is no allowance for infants. Should I ring too as I know we will carry nappies and plastic bowls, cups etc?
Too many children, too little time!!!

It was me, tara (I was saying thanks in advance) Who are you flying with? if its Thomson airways you get 10kg for an infant but I just don't know if I need to ring someone or something to sort it out.

    Thanks anyway Jillie.

    Thats great news MM

Hugs SM, no advice except that its that time of year for feeling fed up and being stuck inside cos of the snow doesn't help, is Philip looking for other work?

hi my understanding of the paragraph is that its included as standard once you book an infant. no harm in checking in a local store

    http://www.thomson.co.uk/editorial/legal/baggage-allowance.html
    Infants
Infants under the age of 2 now have an individual luggage allowance of 10kg. Folding pushchairs and wheelchairs do not count as part of your baggage allowance, however you will not be charged to carry them when travelling on our in-house airline

  • ((hugs)) SM, but you need to start thinking positive !! A positive mind will be much more productive to you than thinking that the year is a washout already on the 12th January :)

 Oh my god - I am SO shocked at that attitude!! We have a dad who attends Booby Club EVERY WEEK and any number of dads who come along as and when they feel like it. Loads of new women bring daddy along with them for moral support and I have never heard anyone mention it as a problem.

If anything, our regular dad said he was fed up of having to look at my boobs all the time :rotfl:

I would happily go along and shake them!! Bl00dy idiots

Edit: I forgot...I don't go to Booby Club any more, I go to work - boo hoo...

I actually think they were more miffed at having the groups merged but were finding excuses to moan.
He was lovely, I think he might have been grandad cos he was in his 60's as was his wife but I could be wrong.

one of the BF ladies had a 14 week old who had only gained 1.5lbs since birth & was only 8lb odd. born at term no problems - she said baby can feed for 12hrs at a time which I thought was strange

my friend's LO one can roll over and is a week younger than Jack - I know they all do things at different stages but was still abit sad! He doesnt even try to roll - but then I think at least he's not going to roll off anywhere and he can sit up for a bit! *just being silly*
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Had a look on first choice website myself

    http://www.firstchoice.co.uk/press-releases/top-tips-for-travel-without-tears/

It says in there, in point 1 packing that there is 10kg for infants if you are flying with Thomson airways so it must be down to who your flight is with like I thought.

ETA Thanks Jillie, my thanks button has wandered off somewhere

very strange, has she queried it at all?

aww, he'll get there. (you be silly all you want! its hard seeing other babies do things our lo's cant), i get *silly* after being ion here when i read bout teeth and standing etc... but i forget that the babies/toddlers are older than Kian so of course they can do more things lol!!
Kian still hates being put on his front. DH says he (I) need to work with this so he will be able to crawl. i said some babies dont crawl but bum shuffle.
