I'm going away in June and I'vr only just realised I'll need 'stuff'! Like tins of milk, and nappies, and buggies :eek: :rotfl:
How will I make bottles up with foriegn water and other such stupid questions that never crossed my mind when I booked! So glad I'll not be steralising by then :rotfl:

Me neither, :rotfl:just booked it and thought it would be great. I just looked and our hotel remove all crockery etc from the half-board rooms and the fridge is 20 euros for the week. No kettle either so will borrow a travel one. Most gave it 10/10 though so very clean with great staff. Phew! :D
Too many children, too little time!!!

Could do with finding out if the hotel restaurant has highchairs? Will make sure she's eating everything by then so no jars, will try to get her on cows milk for the start of June.

Thanks though as none of this had crossed my mind yet!

I'm gonna get one of these so its less of an issue

I know, I know. Interestingly the HV asked me to show another mum Jack's teeth under his gum so mum knew what to look for - she was surprised that she could clearly see his top & bottom 2 AND (Weezl) one near the back! Bet Jack will be one of those 4%'ers that gets a back one thru first!

tara - do you steam the fruit/veg? I'm not sure how long to do it or how big to make the fruit to start off with!

ooooh my DH will want him for a case study! Which will be so very easy to arrange when you move to Cardiff:j:j:j (mustn't get hopes up! :rotfl:)

puree-wise we just add a little bit of water and boil down til it's a mush with lumps (fergie has always liked a few lumps) I think Benjamin did too, but Jayden and seth from memory prefer smooth... I think Kai changes his mind :) So you'll know best how Jack will like it :)

    yep!

Searchie, about the washing machine, I got a freezer for £55 new from comet clearance, which is an auction type site who do deliveries. They have washing machines too. The stuff is all warrantied and fully working but ex-display or with a little dent in it. Didn't bother me!

Just thought that might be a bit more manageable than a new full price one....

The other thought I had was that if you responded to a freecycler with a 'I'd love this washer but I have no transport, can I give you £10 for your trouble in bringing it.....' well they can only say 'no' eh? :rotfl:and a lot of freecyclers just want stuff to have a useful home so they might even drop it off without a charge.

Just 2 thoughts I had when I was thinking about you earlier :)

you booked with Going Places? ask them to add on the 10kg free infant allowance. this will cover any extras you need/want to bring. you can use bottled water but you boil and cool it before using it.

so glad our 1st holiday is to my mum!! think we are (hopefully) getting away in sept/oct. i get a months salary as a return to work bonus after i've been back 3 months. (pay i was on when i went on mat leave). if we dont get away then i;m looking at going to Egypt in nov/dec. treat ourselves to a nice 5* All inc (get a massooove disc of my hols for us all)
