random question for OS'ers do you know how so make cookies really gooey and yummy like the ones you get from dominos pizza?
I made some cookies yesterday but they were quite dry so I couldn't decide less flour/more egg/more butter

OH made biscuits with Henry yesterday - how weird is that

It was nude here with my DD 13 yrs ago but so many others are nude still. I personally don't see that stripping a wee baby, esp in the middle of winter can be of any benefit:confused:

Think its nude till 2 here as well.

Right sorting list of bits to get in baby events over next couple of weeks - so many to go to:j. Anyway I have one small pack of pampers size 1 nappies left and was going to change up to size 2's as LO is now over 10lbs. I have 2 large (62 in each) pampers packs and wonder whether to get some size 3s next or just get size 3's in the active fit? Sami you are always good for answers to questions like these?

    morning all!

totally forgot we were meant to go to mummy/toddler group this morning. was looking forward to it as well. must put reminder on wall so i dont forget next week.

i hate hate people calling peeps by the wrong name BM. i'd have said something by now. next time is she says 'abbie did this' go 'who?' she might get the message then. do they not have a uniform top? they all have that near me.

made Kian's appointment for next jabs. poor thing.

FIL shortens Kian's name to 'key' really gets on my wick!! i just roll my eyes when he does it!! !!!!!! its KIAN not KEY!!!!
I was always forgetting groups, it's so annoying when you look forward to them isnt it.
On the name thing; in RL I insist that Chris isn't called Chris :p I spent the first year of his life growling CHRISTOPHER!! everytime anyone dared to say Chris  they got the message!
Benjamin eats 1 weetabix with no problem but can't manage 2 (although Sami is right that I did try him with 2!!)
He has a weetabix, 2 fromage frais and some fruit for breakfast when he is with me (a satsuma, a whole pear, about 8 grapes or 6 strawberries). He will eat fruit until it comes out of his ears!

We get rudey nudey for weigh ins too - the only problem is that they put some of that paper on the changing mat which just gets all crunched up as you wrestle with the clothes!! We do big boy sitting up on the scales now too!

Sami - I thought we established that fibre wasn't a problem for babies? When Krystal said before about brown bread we had a look and it was fine
I'm sure it's not a problem as such but shouldn't be as big a part of LOs diet as they need fat for energy where as grown ups need starchy stuff for energy IYSWIM
Thanks hun :D not sure how long we have to wait though
bum is still very sore :o

Thats what I thought, but you know, 'they' know best :p I will just keep trying him, he will eventually start to love food as much as the rest of this family !!

    Whats a SALT ??
and :p to her telling you he would feed :D
tomato and sweetcorn sounds plain wrong _pale_
its tomatoe crisps and sweetcorn crisps - they are quite nice, carrott ones are a bit poop, just ask 3's mum :rotfl:Chris force fed her them at the picnic in the summer

    ooh biscuit copying :)
We only used 1 box of size 2's then Ed went straight into sz3 baby dry/super dry as cheaper and more absorbant than new baby
Chris is allergic to active fit so I just avoided them for Ed too but IIRC active fit are more expensive than the dry ones :)

I know what you mean hun, he made a baby and supposedly wanted it so you take his money misses, even if you just stick it in an account for Amber to use when she goes to uni/needs a car/ deposit on house

That's a good idea Sami. Does the maintenance affect my tax creds? I'm a doley at the mo too so on income support, no idea what anything affects. Possibly the housing benefit? Gawd life was simpler working, so complicated now!
