Isn't it funny how much little boys and girls seem to differ in their appetites? Must grow out of it though as I eat like a horse all the time!Mummy to

Going to check my BMI, but I prefer the measurement of "my belly sticks out [this far] over my trousers" to see how I'm doing.chopsticks wrote: »General stuff - I'm glad the March babies are still having morning and afternoon bottles. When I saw the HB last week, she told me I should be trying to drop them and only keep the early morning and bedtime bottles but to make sure she still has at least 600ml of milk a day. I know the milk is in cheese, yoghurts, mashed potato, on her weetabix, etc but I don't think I'd be able to get 600ml into her from just two bottles and food each day. Besides, I don't think Caitlin will give those two bottles up very easily just yet!Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

The nursery nurse trainee chick at Bop's nursery (she's 18 or something, looks older than me) really bugs me. She dotes over 1 little girl in particular, making paper roses for her hair etc, and Keira is like "Where is my pretty flower?" and she keeps calling her "abbie"
That's not her flippin name  and she should know it as she has been there since she started there in September, also she should be wearing decent clothes, like Tshirt at least, not low cut tops, I had to delete a picture I took of Keira seeing Santa cause her baps were hanging out in the pic.
END RANT.
Actually no, LEARN HER BLOODY NAME !
Ahhh, its cold outside.
Em, Keira only eats one weetabix but sometimes she asks for 2 but It's hard to tell how much of it she has eaten because it goes to gloop0 -
Is mine the only baby clinic that weighs them with clothes?
We do nudey weighing at checkups with the doc but weekly weighings are done with clothes. I always dress K in the same stuff: vest, socks and babygrow so I get a good indication of weight.
It's always been a full strip for mine. The weekly session is called "weigh, stay and play" and they have a mat out with toys so you can play and chat with the other Mam's and babies. You put your name on a list and strip baby off down to vest and nappy, then they play until it's their turn to get weighed. You just slip the nappy and vest off for that and put it back on, then dress them at leisure on the mat. It's always boiling hot and in a room in the middle of the building, so no dangers of babies getting chilled! Here I go again on my own....0 -
