She has only been confirmed at the age of 13 as dyslexic. I and the HOY think there may be a crossover with dyspraxia as a lot of her behavior fits with it but she doesn't have the lack of fine motor skills that most people think of dyspraxia as being.
The not sleeping is not been actively looked into because there really is nothing they can do about it. She can still be awake at 3am and get up for school at 7, other days she can stay in bed til noon.
Her brain is just wired slighty differently to a normal persons. She can be really loud and can come over as rude to people that don't know her as she has a tendancy to butt in to conversations, I sometimes feel guilty for getting annoyed with her because shes not doing it deliberately but it can be frustrating!

Daniel is off for a settling in session with the CM tomorrow, I don't like it as it means me going back to work is ever closer.

Going back to work sucks! I'm so dreading May. My work were really bad when I was pregnant and I'm sure the Area Manager is out to get me I'm already really worried about going back and leaving baby. I'm not really away from him much and I don't think he'll like me being away.

((hugs)) dora, I know how you feel, I have to go in for a meeting on Wednesday afternoon with my branch and then another next week with my manager and then I am back full time on 7th Feb

Anyone on tonight that has had an occupational therapy appointment?
We have ours tomorrow morning and the letter says
it will take 60mins and will involve observation of the child in play and interaction and discussions with the carers
What the hell can they observe a 6 month old for that will take an hour ???

SM - I'm beat you I'm 5ft 3 and about 14/15 stone - and unfortnuately no matter what I do it doesn't come of thank to my PCOS - need tablets which I haven't got round to getting re-prescribed since having DD.

Hugs for all teething babies - Katie's teeth came in 4's.

sounds as though you have had some battles.

must to challenging at times though, and as you say you get annoyed but feel guilty, although i can understand how you would.

Oh no looks like lot of people going back to work am back in 3 weeks, wish didn't have too.

Tiz OK be selfish all you want

Going back 4 days a week (off on a tuesday, random day to have off but all I was allowed) we'll see how it goes but I get very stressed at work because my team is full of numptys, I normally bite my tongue, just not sure I'll be able to anymore. I am hoping to get pregnant with baby Roberts no 2 so if all goes to plan I won't be there for too long.

MM and Annie it's crap I just wanna stay home forever, if we could live on DHs salary alone I'd jump at the chance and DH was genuinely gutted when we worked out whether I could or not and it just wouldn't happen.

Its weird this came up because today i was trying to remember why you've been told to fatten Rhys up, is it 'just' because he doesn't conform to those pretty lines on the chart?
