I've got about 4st on most of you trying to get down the food in my freezer so I can start meal planning healthily again!

My DD's teeth: first 6 came in pairs and then her teeth came in 4's!! Was awful for about a week but as you say, it was then over and done with.
Feel so sorry for the wee souls tho x

thanks for the good luck wishes. i am going to need them. going to listen to what she says. just praying she doesn't insinuate that i've done a bad job, as even though i feel i have, i dont want a professional confirming it

If she as much as hints that you have done a bad job politely ask her to leave - or throw a big strop and kick her out!!!
She is not there to judge you, she is there to help. xx

You have not done a bad job. You are a great mum and love your LO dearly will be obvious to the HV. She is coming to help, not to criticise. Please do not think this is your fault.


My DD never slept a full night til she was 2.5 yrs, she still doesn't sleep properly now. She is currently being assessed for dyspraxia which may well be the cause of her sleeping problems. Nothing I could have done for her as a baby would have helped if this is the cause.

Babies/ children/ adults everyone has different sleep patterns and 12hrs straight through for a baby is not the norm x

So wish I was like that. Though I know I will let her say what she wants to say and even if she says out right i've done a bad job, I wont say anything back and just burst into tears when she leaves.

I have heard of dyspraxia, although I do not know much about it. Is it due to her age that they are now looking at possible causes of her not sleeping?

Eek I wish I was as skinny as some of you. I did lose 7 stone a couple of years ago and then put it all back on. I lost 2 stone while pregnant and have put alot of that back on.

Daniel is off for a settling in session with the CM tomorrow, I don't like it as it means me going back to work is ever closer.
