  • Aless- Henry hated it at first but is much better no he's a bit older. I think it's normal.

While we're on the subject, I bled for 4 weeks. Heavy for the first two then just a bit on and off for the second two. I had a CS though so I think that makes you bleed less.

I am a little embarassed now at the HUGE knickers I wore in the first couple of weeks. Even my Nan would think them frumpy! But needs must and all that... Even worse I had to dispatch OH to buy them as i was totally unprepared for the possibility of a CS. Suffice to say the offending pants are now safely packed away with my maternity wear, as I couldn't bear to keep them in my undies drawer!

MM, nebby question, but will Dylan still go to hydro and physio when you're back at work?

he has 6 weeks of hydro left, so I can do the next 4 and my mum is taking him to the last 2. Physio will continue but not sure if weekly or every 2 weeks. Depends on what my day off will be if I take him or someone else.

Exactly that aless - bathing Molly's a two-person process. I hop into the bath, Husband passes her in and I wash her, then when she's clean and rinsed she gets a BF then when she's done Husband takes her and dries/dresses her while I wash myself.

It stopped the yelling and makes it easier for Husband to dress her :)

will have to try this! he's not TOO bad in the bath (protests but luckily not generally howling the house down) - she doesn't get cold being wet & naked for so long?

glam - love the photo you posted on preg thread. Jack's a baldy, it's so cute! :rotfl:

also love the new photos on FB, girls (GISI, elle)

ooo, do I need to "officially" notify work somehow of Finn's birth? only b/c I was due to start my mat leave on his due date and he was born early, so it does affect things ever so slightly.

MOTM - say good luck to Lucy from us! I cried when I handed my notice in at my first practice, I loved it & only left cos we moved from Cardiff to Liverpool. This job I've not techincally done it yet but they know I'm not coming back! I always find it awkward :o

I will, thank you. And thanks to you and everyone for your comments and posts today.

All girls in bed bar eldest two. 15yo getting ready for bed and 16yo going early so Lucy and I can chat.

Speak to you all soon. Hope you all have a good day tomorrow.

Yay for Mums! :D I was just thinking about how it's going to work with Rhys' appointments when I'm back at work, that's all :)

Have been thinking more about which job I go back to.. Finally caved and told OH about them. I think I'm going for the new one on paper, but it depends what I can find out about the job description and the potential hours

Aless, I have a little pot that I fill with bathwater and keep pouring it over her so she doesn't get cold, and my body heat keeps her warm too. I do know Husband finds he has to dry her quickly or she starts shivering.

Thankyou :) Take it you mean Rhys in his highchair for the first time :)

I didn't, other than a "Err, I won't be in work tomorrow!" phone call to my colleague on the evening of the Sunday Rhys was born  They wrote me an official looking letter asking for my "amended MatB1" which would have been difficult as they had hold of it and you don't get a new one anyway! (must remind them to change their template letter actually..). I'd just email them if I were you, just so they have his official DOB on file, and not just "sometime over the Christmas break" :)
  • Evening everyone,

    hope everyones ok??
