My best friend from school just posted on fb that her bf proposed with a tiffeny ring at the top of rockerfella tower in NY !!
She's 29wks tomorrow, but they said they won't let her go term and she's high risk for early labour because of her size. They want a planned induction with surgeons standing by!!!

MOTM - no problem. Lucy should put it all down in her letter at least something can be said about it when she leaves. Might be worth her handing the letter to a partner though rather than the manager as the concerns may not get passed on.
The Indian GP was a Partner who was taken over & forced to change from working 9-5 to 8-8 and I had to be the one to tell him - he was due to retire but made my life hell! Have worked with others who were very pleasant!
She has put it all down, i've seen what she's written. She says she may as well be brave as she's leaving. She says she will hand it to one of the partners.
The GP sounds like a right annoyance. I don't think i'd be happy being told my shifts were being increased by 3 hours so close to retirement, but it wasn't your decision.
Oh well, will find out tomorrow what the reaction is0 -
Glam, I have 4 weeks left off
oh right tara, it will be OK, just scary !! girl I work with is 31 weeks and isnt allowed to go past 35 as she is being flown to Edinburgh weekly for the baby to have blood transfusions done direct into the womb. She knows baby will be in NICU for at least 4 weeks after as well, but think she would rather that as she lost her last bubs at 27weeks pregnant as he had the same condition as this one but it wasnt diagnosedThe two best things I have done with my life

kindof - on the mat pads, I initially bought 2 packs but then got another 1 before moving onto Always. I might've gotten away without the last 1 technically, but the extra cushioning and absorption meant I didn't have to worry about it or whatever (peace of mind). I'm on day 16 and still bleeding (tapered off slightly around day 10ish but then came back in full force). Of course everyone is different!
