K gets a bit jumpy when totally nudey, gets a wee fright if you move to quick. In fact I think 'feels vulnerable' sums it up best.
Yes I think ur right, as when Toby is nakey naked, when i lift him up a little to put his vest on, he does the thing where his arms shoot out and he tries to grab hold of me, is it called the startle reflex?Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -

Elijah luuurves being naked
If anything is guaranteed to make him run up and down manically shouting "diggedy-da, diggedy-da, diggedy-DA!" and flailing his arms in the air, it's removing all his clothes!
When it's warmer we let him have 2 minutes of this after his bath, at the moment we force a dressing-gown on him though, it's just too cold!
We had the "won't lie down to have his nappy changed" thing for a couple of months at around 10-12 months I think - was a real nightmare at the time, distraction objects sometimes worked but it was real hit-or-miss and there were many angry screaming baby moments while he was pinned to have his bottom wiped... luckily he just grew out of it.0 -

Yep, thats exactly it! He doesn't do it if I leave his nappy on tho0 -
Jack loves being Nakey! While I run the bath, I strip him off & lie him on a towel - he does this butt shuffle thing its so funny!
changed his bum & have had the usual evening screaming  so he is now on my chest while I try & calm him down!
just had a look on Google & saw on another forum a few people mentioned a build up of acid cos he screams thru his feeds as well. So I think I'll try the Gaviscon again from tomorrow and see if that helps him.
going to try & get him down so I can go to bed
might not be on tomorrow - trying to follow Fly Ladies againA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Glam before you go, little hint with the Gaviscon is to put it in boiling water before you cool it to add the powder as it dissolves better and apparently helps them more if its fully dissolvedThe two best things I have done with my life
