Bruno, thanks for that link to kidspace earlier, I've just spent most of the day explaining why we can't go there, I even had to look it up on routefinder and show her how far away it is (237miles)

    So anyway, how is everyone?

Tesco delivery came yesterday and they substituted Ambers stage 2 milk for 6month+ stuff. I sent it back but now I'm wondering, when would you put them onto 6m+? At 6months or later? (duh)

I've relented and got old pram from loft down for LO to nap in during day ... he's been asleep for 3 hours!!! dont you hate smart**se OH's !!!

Going to try LO in big cot tonight and thanks to feelie I now realise why I've been having problems with BF - forceful let down... I now have 10oz of EBM!!!

typical, LO woke up so I got out one of the bottles with 5ozs EBM in, he proceeded to take 2.5 ozs and has now gone back to sleep...so thats half wasted as cant reheat / put back in fridge again can I?

Have you tried expressing first thing in the morning? I used to express then and it worked better both because there was more milk due to Alice feeding less at night and also I was less tired at that time of day so the milk came out more easily.

    Hi Susan,

yes, I've tried this: I don't seem to be able to express much at all no matter what time of day it is. I used to be able to express quite a bit when she was first born, but not anymore! Thanks for the suggestion though :)

Wrapped Ellie up well and went out for a drive to the shop this afternoon as needed a couple of things - the amount of snow that is piled in up carparks is amazing just now! She had a nice nap in the car though, so is now kicking about on her playmat :) We treated ourselves at a lovely 'burger' van that not only does burgers, but things like mince and mash potatoes, stovies, and large yorkshire puddings with mash and gravy and sausages! Was nicer than what we can get in some cafes :D Means just have to make a sandwich or something for tea which is fine!

:hello: MM, carla, tia, MFD and mooki! :D Everyone well?

Cabin fever is setting in here too, mooki. I haven't been out the house since Monday morning :( Might go stick my head out the kitchen window just for a bit of fresh air! :o
