I've just bought these giftbags and cards so I've got some in stock! Must have a sort out of all the wrapping paper/ribbon/tags and put the Christmas stuff away. I'm kind of holding off until I stop sale shopping for next Christmas then it's only one big package of Christmas things - if it goes in the loft in little chunks I'm risking forgetting something when it comes to getting it all down next Christmas!
I've been meal planning for the rest of the month - bless OH, he's been to the supermarket yet again and actually remembered everything, golden syrup (in squeezy bottles!) includedAlso been eating crumpets.. put them on the list for OH and Rhys (who likes sucking the butter and jam out of them but isn't too keen when he gums them so much bits drop off!) and always claimed I didn't like them, but have just had a couple and I actually quite like them too

Yay, sounds like a good day all round (in the end), Maz
I wish it's snow more here.. it keeps trying, in pathetic whispy bursts :rolleyes:0 -
well more confusing really.
want to get my head round it all so i can explain to hubby what i'm doing.
i like the sound of BLW but as DH wont eat mash or any veg may not be practical as it would mean always cooking 2 meals.
so i guess for me at the moment (when we start) i need to do some batch cooking for Kian and then me and DH can have our meals. i love veg
so its not too much of a problem for some meals but not all.
guess i just need to see what suits us best and do that. after all there is no real rules about how you do it.
i will be interested in seeing how all the older babies do so i can take notes for when the time comes.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

Jillie, we just boiled and mashed some stuff and then offered it to Molly on a spoon - she took about 3 spoons the first time, then last night guzzled down about 8, then at lunchtime turned her nose up at carrots but that might have been cause she was full from boob so we'll try those again when she wakes up (before we put her party dress on her and go out :rotfl:).
It's not so long ago that people partially chewed food to give to their little ones, so I wouldn't worry about getting it right - they survived okOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Have you signed up to all the baby food makers "clubs"? I think it was HiPP that sent me a good guide for how much and when to step it up a bit. Might be handy to have something you can show DH, iyswim
Maybe you could list some of the typical meals you have and those that have done BLW can tell you how you can adapt / incorporate them into Kian's weaning
Best bit is when they get to six months and can have (almost) anything.. as long as you have a wipeable mat covering your carpet!
Rhys is a funny one with weaning - mega high fat, must spoonfeed him to get food definitely into him (not BLW), seems like as few vitamins and minerals as possible (), boiled not steamed.. Don't use us as a good example for a normal baby!0 -
Hello, my little man is poorly
and now my lovely neighbour comes back and rips the wreath off our door (i know forgot to take it down) and chucks it in bits across the hallway
when asked why she did it, she said we've reported her to the social about her kids, and that she'll come after me if they are taken off her
I haven't once said anything about her kids to anyone, so this has nothing to do with me.
So sick/poopy baby and her=one unhappy keely.Mommy to Elliot (5) and Lewis (born xmas eve 11!)0
