Hi Susan, how have you been ??
We're good thanks. Since OH wouldn't be working at this time of the year anyway we've been able to enjoy the snow. We've also been able to do quite a bit of shopping (and get sales bargains) without OH getting stressed by it as the shops are all really quiet because of the snow. But for some reason Alice prefers to go out pulling the sledge instead of riding in it.

Susan, our goose must have had all your goose's fat - we bought extra for roasting potatoes and didn't need any of it because there was so much fat it was really quite disturbing.

But it turned out ok really - my mother attempted to sabotage the dinner by turning up the heat and burning the meat and potatoes, so the extra fat kept them relatively soft.

Well done Seth!! :j He was obviously waiting on you putting him in his own room to do it. You could probably have done it months ago. You must have been keeping the poor boy awake! ;)
Thats what OH said :rotfl: plus he clearly likes to sleep in the toasty warmness, which explains why he'll sleep for however long we stay in bed for if he's with us but wakes alone, the heater was on all night! I'm going to have to go out today to try and get a safer and more energy efficient one. Might just walk to Argos and hope its not too big to go in the buggy basket, or too heavy if it doesnt!

And sorry I worried people by disappearing without saying anything - I just got a bit stressed out by the whole thing about people not being replied to but I didn't want to make a big thing about it. :o I think I've recovered now though. :D
We thought that might be what it was after your last mammoth post before you abandoned us - its great to "see" you back and to know you're ok!

Jas has never liked sitting on anything in the snow, she much prefers trying to go on her scooter or bike in it !!!

Ladies and gents, I just posted a Grabbit that would be great for those of you with older children - but perhaps not those of us with littlies :)

And I thought my mum stalking me on e-Bay was weird.

Nice to 'see' you Susan, and pleased to see your family are well and enjoyed christmas. lol at Alice now wrapping things!

    Well done Seth!

MM- How is the injury today?

Elle- if your attic is anythinh like mine, just shut the hatch and back away slowly. Its the only place in the house I've never organised and I have frequent nightmares about the state of it!

Mel, sorry you are having a tough time but glad to see Kai improving even if its slow progress x
