dummy goes in my mouth if it lands on floor unless I've had something spicy or nutty to eat. It would get sterilised if it fell on the floor outside or if I had pets

bottle almost gone, complaining for more but wont take the last bit
    tres annoying!

csh - I dont sterilise dummy, medicine syringe or anything other than bottles. I'll probably just sterilise spoons and not bother with the bowls. They will be washed in hot soapy water which should be fine

hey MM - miss you too hun! why do u come on when I need to go now & cook tea? xx

Kieren cries after he is decided hes finished a bottle cos hes still hungry but won't take anymore, he starts to squirm and fight the bottle after the first 3 ozs but hes still crying for food, I have to almost force the rest in. He is just bored of milk altogether. He had a 7oz bottle last night and his belly was rumbling after!

Bruno, could E not go to nursey one or two sessions a week? Would DW be agreeable to this? I get the feeling that she craves some 'me' time and she thinks she will get it of an afternoon/evening but then gets angry when E doesn't go to nap/bed as planned. I adore my children but I need time to recharge and be just me and I get that 2 afternoons a week when my parents have them. And Poppy talks non stop about when she is going to nursery next! I know it will be much higher in your area but where she attends is £19 for either 8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm.

    xx

Thanks SB and the lots of others of you with useful advice :)

I tend to agree that something like a little bit of nursery might be the answer. Sorting out nursery is very stressful to us both though... freeing up the money, finding and vetting somewhere, and feeling like he really won't enjoy it yet. But it's on the cards and will discuss some more!

I only ever run Seths dummies under the tap :o when he was younger I would run them through the steriliser before I gave them to him the first time, but it seemed a bit pointless when he started shoving toys in his mouth, and grabbing the cats and then shoving his hands in his mouth straight after!
