On the weaning debate, I'll wean when LO is ready, whenever that may be. I think we all in here do what's best for our little ones.

The next available slot is Monday! What use is that? My delivery slot was 11-1 and they text me at 12pm to say it was cancelled. So no Henry and I have to go out in the cold, which will do my cold no good at all!
Sorry for the rant.
Hugs to tigs over the milk. I agree that the professionals have to err on the side of caution.
Boogelly- yay for Isla being a proper person now, and better sleeping.
Sleep here was less good than usual, awake at 1, 5 then 6 am. Brought him into bed with me at 7am for a feed and he dozed till 9am which was good.
Hugs to anyone else in need. We are off to wrap up and face the supermarket.
Just in the process of catching up!! So far...
GISI - Hello!! I received my fairy post today thank you :j I'm going to wear it tonight, its my first proper feeding top and Im very impressed at the technicalities of it, (lol easily impressed I am!!). Also the jojo nursing vests arrived, I ordered mediums and they are snug around the chest but I guess better to be snug than loose. Hope u got ur shopping ok.
Boogelly - Glad u had a better nights sleep. I am v envious!! Last nite, like GISI, I had a bit of a rubbish night. Toby cluster fed all evening right up till 1am  and I kept thinking that it was ok cos I would be bound to get 3 or 4 hours sleep once he stopped... but no, he was up again at 3am, 5.45am, 7.10am. I think I am coming down with something too as feel a bit worse for wear, so sorry for the moan, just feeling a little sorry for myself today!! So I fitted in a couple of naps today whilst Toby has been sleeping, which I dont usually do, and that has helped, except its resulted in me missing out on a Lindam door bouncer I wanted to bid on on ebay this afternoon, as it was in the next town so I couldve saved the postage!! GRR!! Sorry I will stop moaning now, promise!!
Buttons - Yay glad u got some sense in the end about the faulty consoleBaby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
I've been looking for some BF suitable tops, but i want long ones so i can wear leggings and also so they cover my bum
2 questions... Does anyone know where i can find some long ones?
And
Why do all the nursing tops show pics of a heavily pregnant woman? I'm not pregnant anymore, that's why i am breastfeeding, so i don't need extra space for a bump?0 -
Sterilizing - I did all breast pump parts between pumps (so 8 times a day) despite knowing I didn't need to. Botlles and dummys were always done, but I don't do food things. If LO ever has a bottle I'd do that.
Weaning - LO has always been a hungry and wakeful baby. We waited tii 6 months though, to be safe. He got involved in other ways though. I think it is easier to wait with breastfed babies because you can just feed on demand. LO still wants milk, milk and more milk and still wakes for feeds since starting solids.
I'm on iPhone so getting muddled, who mentioned new passport? Yay for safe hub too. Bruno, don't know if you saw me suggest mothers help the other day, might be a cheaper and less worrying option compared to nursery. Glam, have you tried smaller and more frequent bottles? LO wouldn't ever have more than 100ml and still wanted 1200ml in a day. Yay for sitting baby (10 scs is great).

Okay- on my high horse for a mo. Just looking at pics on fb and have seen my ten month old nephew out in the snow with bare feet and a RL friend's 9 week old baby laid in the snow, posing for pictures. I mean !!!!!! is wrong with people?! Rant over.
Fattybooboo- glad you got the top. I got the large vests from Jojo and they're fine on the chest but loose in the body. I mostly wear them at night though so not too worried. Fingers crossed we both get a better night tonight.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
