And  to barefoot babies in snow. I showed Izzy the snow yesterday (held up a snowball for her to touch) - she wasn't impressed. Loved watching it through the window when it was actually snowing though!

FWIW, we weaned on 17 weeks to the day - I was counting the days till we could start.

Izzy is being a right pickle this afternoon. Won't eat her food - too much fun throwing it all on the floor . I ate her pudding too, seeing as she just wanted to play. I guess she's just having a not-hungry day, but it is annoying when you've made something yummy!

anyway, bath time now - she has managed to take her trousers off (they are a bit big and were falling down anyway!) so I'm going to take that as a hint ;)

Yay Dylan, great news mm. I always get that look when I clap Kezia too.

Tia, thanked your posts then got distracted by food requirements before I got chance to reply. Glad fairies got to PO and back safely though I guess they are more used to this weather than the rest of us. And really really glad that DH wasn't the one driving the crashed bus. Hope all were ok.

After complaining that cuddles were being rebuked on Tuesday I am now coming to the end of my second very cuddly day. Has been lovely, we've stayed in enjoying the excuse not to go out in the cold, admiring my snowman effort from the front window. Still can't get to the garage to get the car back, hope they don't need the space for new repairs cos I'm not taking Kezia out until all the ice has gone, no way am I risking the pram skidding into the main road.

Go Dylan for handy stuff and Andrew for weight gain :j

Molly's going to be such a handful - she was complaining in her bouncer so I went over to lift her out. She stopped whinging, looked up at me and smiled and said (not cried) Waah.

    Well done Millie's Mum!

Edit: I missed waving Toby! Well done Toby! *waves*

Sterilizing - I did all breast pump parts between pumps (so 8 times a day) despite knowing I didn't need to. Botlles and dummys were always done, but I don't do food things. If LO ever has a bottle I'd do that.

Weaning - LO has always been a hungry and wakeful baby. We waited tii 6 months though, to be safe. He got involved in other ways though. I think it is easier to wait with breastfed babies because you can just feed on demand. LO still wants milk, milk and more milk and still wakes for feeds since starting solids.

I'm on iPhone so getting muddled, who mentioned new passport? Yay for safe hub too. Bruno, don't know if you saw me suggest mothers help the other day, might be a cheaper and less worrying option compared to nursery. Glam, have you tried smaller and more frequent bottles? LO wouldn't ever have more than 100ml and still wanted 1200ml in a day. Yay for sitting baby (10 scs is great).

Toby waved for the first time this morning!

hi feelie and  Toby (you clever boy)

I was thinking that about the BF babies as they do seem to be going longer before they start weaning. I was planning on trying the smaller bottles more often but it now seems he just wants a break for about 20mins and then he'll demolish the rest. He had that 7oz bottle at 5pm and ever since has been complaining with his fingers in his mouth, he's just nodded off so plan is eat tea, then bath him give him another bottle then bed (and see if he settles tonight having had an extra bottle today)
Okay- on my high horse for a mo. Just looking at pics on fb and have seen my ten month old nephew out in the snow with bare feet and a RL friend's 9 week old baby laid in the snow, posing for pictures. I mean !!!!!! is wrong with people?! Rant over.

Fattybooboo- glad you got the top. I got the large vests from Jojo and they're fine on the chest but loose in the body. I mostly wear them at night though so not too worried. Fingers crossed we both get a better night tonight.

I took Jack outside for about 10minutes in a HUGE snowsuit but he was in the baby carrier and was quite warm. I wouldn't dream of posing him or taking any clothes off him - bless those poor little ones!

Yay for Andrew having his first baby rice - I am going to do it when OH is here so I can capture the moment on camera!

Well done Dylan - another clever boy!
