To Elle. I've just meal planned for the rest of this week and next week till Friday and done the shopping for delivery Friday, so nah!
I've got stuff in the freezer, but I can't seem to get into the way of remembering to get stuff out so end up quickly trying to make her something out of what I have in the kitchen (freezer is in the cupboard under the stairs and thats full of jackets, hoover, shoes so nightmare to get into). Can't rely on fruit mush, fruit pots and random bits of left over tatties and veg.
Last time I tried steamed pears, I burned them
Excuses, excuses...
When can she just tuck into mince and chips? :rolleyes:0 -

I sliced it up salad style, for crispy chicken wraps (help yourself style) and nobody ate them and they were really good, so I sat munching them and before you knew it, they were all in ma belly!
Although, I did also have a smoothie earlier that day so it could have been that.
Urgh _pale_. I could never do that. I hate onions (except pickled onions and pickled onion Monster Munch).

You are extremely organised SM. I thought about doing a yearly budget the other day but haven't done it. Not sure I will either. I really want to save up so we can pay a bit off our mortgage when it's up for renewal later this year but I don't know how much we're gonna spend on stuff like birthdays, holidays, etc. I need to have a think. How do you do it?
Weezl, if you see this, how do you do it? Also, thank you for the PM chick. I have emailed youscruffy96uk wrote: »I used avent And had no probs with nipple confusion
Same here. I also agree with whoever said (sorry, I can't remember who) about getting 8 or 9 ozs in a Avent bottle. I've never made more than a 7oz bottle up for Caitlin but when the powder's in and you shake it, it reaches the 8.5oz line
And whilst I'm in the "agreeing" frame of mind, I agree with MFD's post about nipple confusion. Caitlin had her first bottle at 13 days old. She also had nipple shields from 6 days old and never had any nipple confusion. She has been fussy on occasions but she could latch on fine, I think the problems were to do with me not giving her enough milk and having mastitis several times. Like MFD, I haven't met anyone who has a baby with nipple confusion but I know three people who have problems getting their LOs to take a bottle after being BF.0 -
go right ahead mm

Yeah, when is it they hit that stage?0 -
MOTM, my DD did that with the phone once and only once. She was given a copy of the bill with her calls highlighted, then she had to pay her share of the line rental and vat on top.:rotfl:
Well, i'm glad she learnt her lesson  You made her pay line rental too?I bet that went down well.
Get her to do householdy stuff with theoretical values till she's earned back the money - I'd say washing a car was worth £5, laundry worth £1 (£2 if it's put away), washing up £1 and so on. Or just take the money off her. £80 isn't enough to ruin her future but is enough to feel like a noticeable punishment.
The work to pay off is a good idea that we have incorporated kind of - more later. I wouldn't take the money directly off her without her agreement anyway and not all in one go.Anyone else thinking about MOTM's 15 yr old now?
Don't panic. She's still alive0 -
