Merseyside appears to have come to a standstill!
My DS isn't home from school yet - he's normally home at 4, and i can't get through to the school.
I imagine he'll be off school tomorrow as the transport won't want to take them.
OH's office closed at 2 and told everyone to go home - he thought he'd go shopping 20 minutes away, and it took him two hours to get there. Since four he's been on his way home, about 9 miles!
DD's school have said they hope to be open tomorrow - but listen out for radio reports in the morning.
But on the plus side, we've made a brilliant snowman.:beer:0 -
Who uses TT bottles? Is it actually possible to get 8oz of water and then 8 scosps of powder in them? Have had to up Princess Poops bootles but keep making a huge mess trying to get the powder in! Nightmare!
and i thought 7oz was a struggle. i use the powder with cold water...i may try using the warm water and chilling rapidly so.
the trial avent bottle i am using would do, but i dont know if they are all a similar size. the avent bottle we are trying goes up to 260ml like the TT but there is a bit more of a gap at the top compared to the TT. i dont really want to have to buy new bottles at this stage though.
we had a lovely sleep earlier. i got a headache along with some vision problems (poss a little migraine) so i fed kian, put him in the cot and i got into bed. we both got just over 2 hrs.
beenie- i used all the types of wipes. couldnt be done with the faffing with water all the time. but we've had no problems with sore bums'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
ooh forgot to say. The Trafford Centre cloesd at 4pm!!!! must be a first. so staff and customers could get home safely. most shops only got opened at 12pm!!'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0

Its the first day i've really noticed today, because the biguns have been at school.
I like it! I've got a lot done today, sparkling kitchen and bathroom, tea in the slow cooker and we walked (skated!) to and from school which is much nicer than rushing about in the morning, driving to school, kicking Liv out of the car then rushing into work. Then rushing out of work, to nursery, to school, to home to clean & cook!
Is there travel chaos up your way too?:beer:0 -
Feelie that's interesting i've been slathering it on
Will try your method if the redness stays around!
Krystal - nothing new there then that's where she often talks from :rotfl: Will try weaning the wipes back into use at some stage cos i've got about 9 packs left and it wouldn't be MSE not to
Well as i have to go collect my DS from his friend's house i'll drastically shorten the long story.... But the gist is.... mother - alcoholic, always lets me down, only contacts when she wants something.
I decided to get her to be useful and got her here yesterday to have a word with noisy neighbours for me as i'm close to either smashing windows or breaking down, can't decide which :rotfl: She agrees to do this but changes her mind for no apparent reason. So with everything mounting and my escape route from noisy hell being cancelled due to her lazyness, i ran upstairs crying my eyes out
Sooooo for reasons only known to her and my "sister" they both turned on my psycho stylee - sending me tirades of abuse in text saying how fat and ugly i am and no wonder my ex left me cos i'm a blah blah ...etc. I was like - !!!!!!??! Where did this come from?!
So my sister even starting mouthing off at me while i was taking my son to school this morning which just shows her to be a chavvy little trollop IMO but each to their own.
I'm related (unfortunately) to psychosStill have no idea where it came from and i've tried explaining that i was onlyupset cos i have the banging day in, day out from next door
My "mother" says she hopes i die and she hates my guts and that she's reporting me to SS for my "state of mind"
If i wasn't so shocked i'd probably have to laugh?? Confused.com. But getting the poisonous rats out of my life for good they've never been good to me only brought me grief.
Wasn't as short as i planned:rotfl:

LCK73 - Alex slept for about 10 hours at 9 weeks, but punctuated by a dream feed between 10.30pm and 11.30pm which we got him up for and another feed between 2am and 4am which he got me up for! He would lie in until gone 7pm. Gradually from 10 weeks we moved his bedtime earlier so he now goes in the bath just after 6pm and is in bed asleep by 7pm.
Thanks. This is kinda where we are at. We 'aim' to put him to bed by 7pm and then we dream feed him at 11pm and he wakes around for 4am for feed and then is good till 7am when I wake him to start the day. Last 2 nights he either sleft through till 7am and dropped the 4am feed or as was last night I put his dummy in when he stirred and he went back to sleep so clearly wasn't hungry but just used to waking around 4am. Hoping he sleeps through tonight but he had his jabs today so who knows!

ah cool, I know what you mean about the rushing...as much as I will miss Uni because i really enjoyed it, it was a right faff in the mornings and trying to rush home in time to collect them from school.
Yep roads are awful here too......Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Krystal, phone up and say it fell in the truck. 3 of ours have fallen in and we've never been charged.
Beenie, DS2 is seriously allergic to pampers sensitive. His skin breaks out almost infront of your eyes. I stick to asda/tesco own unscented for him. As for food, I had one time she got grumpy and refused the breast after I ate almost a whole raw onion but it never affected her bum.
and my god, you don't half attract them huh?0
