Evening all, bad noght last night, William wouldnt go to sleep until 3 and was then awake for feed at 6.30 so not much sleep for me. He is getting really bad with BF and wont latch on very easily or correctly and the nibbling has increased.. its getting to me a bit more now. He did take a bottle of expressed milk from my sister the other day but wouldnt from OH today.. Formula is seriously becoming a possibility....if nothing else its getting to OH...and we are both stressing out.

I dont know what else to do re the latching on but will try and hold out til Thursday when HV comes.
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

You're def not the only one SM :D

Maz - I'm no expert by a million miles but does William have a dummy? I was just wondering whether the nibbling is for "fun" (not for you obviously!) and whether a dummy would help, so then he'll only use you for feeding rather than fun or comfort? Poor you on the sleepness nights though, you have my full sympathies. Up until 3.5 weeks ago, Caitlin had only gone all the way through for three nights. We seem to have cracked it now though (finally!).

Big hugs to you Maz, that must be really tough. Are there any booby groups near you that you could go to before Thursday? I found it so helpful when I had sore, bleeding nipples and was feeling really low.

Choppy- Totally, all these lazy babies! Just give her a pen and tell her to do it!

Weezl- You're an asda-er, whats the crack with the products showing at £0.00???? Trying to do an online order and don't know the prices?!?

Tia- Have a baby walker for DS, Santa brought it. DD had one and loved it. I don't buy into the tippy-toe walking thing but each to their own:p

Weezl - how was Fergus' first Christmas?

he seemed to love it :D

    was yours good?

the thing I liked most was the feeling that it was the first of lots of first christmasses for him that are yet to come IYSWIM? Like we haven't had the first christmas where he knows about santa, or wakes up with a stocking at the end of his bed, or has a nativity play or a bike out in the scullery. Not that I'm saying this one wasn't magical, but I'm happy thinking about there being more magic still to come :j
