Maz, have you tried giving the number in my signature a call hun? The women on the end of the phone have all been where you are and are trained in helping over the phone... It might not cure things straight away for you but they might give you some strategies to work on...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Weezl, I cried buckets when Poppy brought home her xmas crafts from nursery :o which included a photo snowglobe and a calendar! I could have burst with pride :D.

And this year she knew who Father Christmas, Rudolph and Snowmen were and talked lots about gifts ;) and sang lots of xmas songs. This was her 3rd and by far the best and next year I know she will be super excited and will understand exactly why Mummy is in the garden sprinkling oats and glitter on the grass! :rotfl:

Jamie was happiest with empty boxes and ripped paper!:D

    was yours good?

the thing I liked most was the feeling that it was the first of lots of first christmasses for him that are yet to come IYSWIM? Like we haven't had the first christmas where he knows about santa, or wakes up with a stocking at the end of his bed, or has a nativity play or a bike out in the scullery. Not that I'm saying this one wasn't magical, but I'm happy thinking about there being more magic still to come :j

Ours was great thank you Weezl. We really enjoyed it but this year it was definitely about us enjoying her first Christmas rather than her enjoying it.

Like you and SB say though, the ones where she knows what's happening will be the truly magical ones.

SB - DH went outside and sprinkled oats and glitter, whilst I held Caitlin at the window. She's six months old and didn't have a clue what was going on. Her age didn't stop me writing her a letter from Father Christmas thanking her for the sausage roll, wine and carrot she left him either. Me barmy? Never! :rotfl:

Yeah very stressful, I'm just wondering when it will all end and I will have a bit of peace!
