:wave:Hi Weezl. Can't help with a catch up I'm afraid, except to say that there have been lots of poorly mummies and babies over Christmas/New Year. Not sure if anyone's heard from Caz or Susan.....
Has anyone else received their £1 jeans? i picked mine up from the PO today and they are great. Nice and long and a good cut. Definitely a mega bargain. I also got my Jojo Maman Bebe order today too and the £5 nursing vests are pretty fabby too.
Feely- not sure if it appeals, but my mum has been to Iceland and loved it there. Don't know anyone who's been to Greenland or Alaska though I'm afraid.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Nothing from Caz
Susan posted once a week or two back I think?? But then quiet again...

Weezl, yeah thats what I though, a red wouldn't be the right red, but I don't want the loola footmuff.
Made an offer on the zebra print (cos then it feels like a bargain).

The one on the list this month is a Colman's packet but if I'm making it from scratch I use passata as the base. Does adding tom sauce make it taste better? I'm open to trying anything.feelinggood wrote: »I was told that, about eyes, by one optician, but not by another. The Consultant wasn't sure either. My blurry vision took about 6 months to go completely, I'm still feeding (almost 9 months, woohoo!) but it is back to normal.
I tried Googling it but couldn't find anything definitive, so am just going to wait the three months that they suggested. I didn't notice anything different with my eyes while feeding and apparently my prescription today is consistent with the one they did last November, so hopefully I should be OK.
Well done you on the 9 months of feeding :j. I'm down to my last four bags of milk in the freezer now, so as from Thursday, Caitlin will be completely formula fed. The past three days though, I've finally managed to drop her milk feed at lunchtime and replace with juice. It's one part juice to two parts water (even though the juice is ready to drink stuff) as she wouldn't take plain water. The plan is to gradually increase the water and decrease the juice ratio so she's just on water eventuallyWow Choppy! Lots of ideas there lol. I use some packet mixes and jars too, I still class that as home made tho lol
I think I'll start to plan monthly too, or at least fortnightly so I can see whats what. My budget for groceries for the week is currently £70, but I usually don't use all of it. My plan for this year is too withdraw the £70 once a week and spend the actual cash rather than just sticking on the debit card and saving up all the change to over pay the credit card at the end of the month with.
I do too, just don't tell anyone on the OS board
I was going to try and do a budget tonight for the year, but need to write Caitlin's thank you cards for Xmas, so will start those now. Surely at 6 months old she should be able to write her own cards0 -
its slowed down to nowt now tia
:rotfl: .. still feeling rough though

Still searching .....:)
