Right, Leila has been in bed for over 1.5 hours and not a peep (yet)!
I'm afraid that as I havent a clue how to remedy this waking every hour business (or seperation anxiety - thanks Krystal!) I put her to bed with a radio and she is listening to the football results/sports channel (cant find the fm radio) because I thought a little background noise might make her feel secure. Hubby got very excited at the suggestion of background noise and wanted to put the tv on in the bedroom (for Leila's benefit of course) because he always had the tv on all night before she was born and hasnt had it on when she's been in bed since. However, I vetoed this on the basis that the tv flashes and could disturb her more!!!
Will report back whether this experiment is successful!!
Plans for 2010. None whatsoever. I have all my heart desires in my hubby and my daughter and anything else that comes along will just be a bonus.
Just a really silly question. Leila has been on 3 meals a day for 2 weeks now and in the last week she has gone from pooing every 4 days to atleast once a day and her poo is somewhat more solid and less of it (or maybe its compacted!). Is this normal!!! I was used to the peanut butter poo and just wasnt expecting well, you know....more human looking poo!!!!
SORRY FOR LOWERING THE TONE OF THE THREAD.
As you were girls!!! xxxxProud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -

SM, the chances of a mc on the injection are very slim. It sounds like just a regular (haha) post natal period. It does take a while for your body to get back to normal then with the injection in there too, is it any wonder your body is all over the place really? I take it theres no clots or anything, its just usual period blood? Call your GP if your worried.
Elle, post viral rash is loveley aint it? Can you take piriton while BF? Hope it goes away soon.0 -

I'm going to Tesco tomorrow. If I've still got it, I'll see about some Piriton then. It never did anything for my hayfever (years ago) so maybe it'll work on something!
I've been baby cookingNow we have 3 x mini roasts (chicken, mashed potato, parsnip, carrot, swede, peas and gravy) and 4 x cheesy chicken pasta (self explanatory!), plus one of each in the fridge for tomorrow. Quite proud of myself.. first time I've made him proper meals but can't be lazy and use jars forever
