i want to pass my licence and get a car, become debt free and hopefully move x
I want to get my eyes lasered so I don't have to wear contacts anymore. I was booked in to have it done in November 2008 but then it was cancelled because the surgeon was ill, then I found out I was pregnant so I couldn't have it done until I stopped BFing. I've got an appointment tomorrow for the consultation to see if I'm still suitable.
Other than that, probably try for baby number 2 and possibly move, but more than likely not, as our dream house (cottage in the countryside with a massive garden) is out of reach financially for the forseeable future, or perhaps forever if we keep having babies.0 -

Oo oo I am a laser eye surgery evangelist! Good luck! Had it done... 14? 13? years ago and I am still ecstatic every time I remember ;p 5 minutes of terror, 15 minutes of pain, a month of oddness in exchange for many years of vast improvements! And I hear the process has improved since then too!
Baby number 2 a definite possibility - pushing the country cottage further back financially here too... :rolleyes:0 -

Ah, I love those. I've only got two, but my mum has got quite a few.
I can't wait until Caitlin can start making me stuff. I'm so soppy like that. My plan is to keep it all (along with all the Xmas and Birthday cards we give her and she gives us, plus anything else similar) in her memory box and give it to her on her 21st birthday.
I read something on MSE ages ago that at the end of each year, a lady writes a list of things that her children achieved or did that year and saves them for when they're older. I was thinking of doing that for Caitlin too, so for 2009, it would consist of things like being born, sleeping through the night, eating food and listing her favourite foods, etc. When she's older it'll be things like first day at nursery, first school trip away, first school disco, first time roller skating, etc etc. I thought that sounded lovely and appealed to my soppy nature.
I have just totally gone off subject there, sorry0 -
