How is everyone? I can't keep track of the thread anymore. Only up because I have ebay stuff ending soon.

Does anyone know if boots will exchange follow on milk? Its unopened, but Amber is very sick and has a really sore belly on it. Wonder if SMA is any better...

On the Sophie thing, I actually can't believe I spent 12 quid on a glorified dog toy (!) but K loves it so much already!

Don't worry about her crying! Honestly babies cry its what they are for! If it helps any this is what my class is like:
No lights on in the room, soft music playing, mats on the floor. The babies just lie on towels. Its really informal
You are free to stop anytime you like, you can feed them, take a break, lift them up and dress them just whatever you are comfortable with.

Its funny cos you are in the room for about an hour and it goes
    *baby crying*
    *other baby joins in*
    *babies stop crying*
    *baby farts loudly*
    *mums laugh*
    *baby giggles*
    *mums go 'awwwww'*
    *baby pees*
*mums laugh and hope theirs isn't next*

Thank you :) I know Im being stupid as babies cry but I get so hot and flustered and feel like Im being judged when she doesnt stop but I dont want to be inside with her all the time as that makes it worse :o

Also, it is unreasonable to expect labouring women to engage in logic (such as answering questions which require more than yes or no) as it makes it harder for them to deal with the labour so it's not suprising you didn't notice a mistake the hospital made when you were in labour. Once I was on continuous monitoring, I was turning the monitor up every time the midwife left the room because she was turning it down really quiet every time she came in and it never occurred to me to tell her to stop turning it down even though in retrospect it is a really obvious thing to do.
    .

This is so true. I hated the fact the midwives kept asking me complicated questions when it was all I could do to breathe the G&A. Isla had the cord twice round her neck, mec in waters and her heartbeat was dropping to 6bpm with each contraction so when they were asking 'what is it you wanted to do with the cord/placenta delivery' I was ready to scream (even more than I was already!) Everything was in my birth plan but no-one looked at it.

Glam, waiting on DH taking it to someone to get fixed :(

If it makes you feel better, Amber woke every hour last night. Even good sleepers have off nights.

Her tummy is so sorewith that milk, she has been crying since lunch time.

It's all other mums/dads at massage so unless they have some GM super baby their babies will be crying too therefore no one will be judging you. The first time is always the worst. Big deep breath and you'll be fine x

Tia Boots are normally quite good with swapping things, I know products like baby milk are normally exempt but if it's not agreeing with her its worth asking. Ive taken moisturiser back to Boots once as it brought me out in a rash :o

    Unbelievable *rolleyes*
It all started to go wrong for us when OH was out of the room getting something to eat. He'd left his phone number in the pocket of my jeans. I was on oxygen with one midwife palpating my belly, another looking for Molly's heartbeat, one doing ultrasound, one holding an oxygen mask on to me, one preparing me for surgery (with antibac soap and a Bic razor ) and one shouting at the doctor. I asked if someone could call OH and they asked me to give them his mobile number. I said it was in my jeans pocket and pointed and they reminded me I wasn't wearing any pants. Eventually my trousers were located but I had to take the number out of the pocket and hand it over.

    *waits impatiently for Glam's stick*
    Poor Amber :(
