so DH says it was only a matter of time before she did succeed.
I wish there was some way of letting suicidal parents know that no matter how badly they feel about themselves and how badly they think they're doing, so long as they love their children and their children feel loved that's reason enough to keep going.
It sounds like your DH is angry with her too but finds it easier to take his anger out on you than admit it.
Edit: I didn't ask him about the activity centre and he's currently swearing at his computer so probably not a good time...Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Harley, how's Kezia doing? Was it just a weird blip in the baby behaviour?
I shamelessly searched on my name so sorry if I've missed something important.
Think she's bit better today thanks for asking, thanks to Fitzio too.Temp on waking was 33.7 but soon seemed to warm up and now feels coolish although forehead therm is showing between 35 & 36 and ear in one is 34.4 and other is 35.8. I've asked at boobie club but they seemed to think 35-36 was normal according to someones doctor.
She's fine in herselft so far so I'm guessing it can't be too bad but I wish someone would be a bit more difinitive.

That's sad - one suicide attempt doesn't necessarily lead to another, it can sometimes be a cry for help. But if the cry isn't answered properly then another attempt can take place.
I had experience of a girl I knew when I was young who was 'parasuicidal' if I've remembered the term correctly0 -
Hi Harley, you could ring NHS direct if you are really worried??
I seen your post about baby massage and just wanted to say Kieren HATED it the first 2 weeks!! He didn't like being naked and the other babies crying went right through him!
I've started now leaving his nappy on and when other babys start crying just putting my head really close to his and whispering to him so hes not focusing on the crying. Its really helped and he got a full body massage yesterday for the first time after going for at least 6 weeks!0 -

Also very scary, because the more often such risks are taken the more likely it is that it'll result in that person's death - which is technically suicide even though they weren't actually intending to die.
Edit: I'm glad she seems ok, HarleyOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Yep Sugar, thats the one.
Even sadder when they succeed in this way as it in all likelihood was never meant as a serious attempt.
I always wonder when I hear of someone that does the deed with pills was it an actual attempt or a cry for help. So very sad.0 -

Jillie - I dont want to put my foot in it and say the wrong thing, I cant even begin to imagine how hard its been for you and your family. But I did want to send you huge hugs x x
SS - I caught a bit about your feelings over Mollys birth, as others say talking it through really does help. Your a fab mum to Molly, one 'wet patch' night wont be remembered but the feeling of love from her mummy will.
Feelie - its good to hear you sounding so positive. I love that you snuck chocolate upstairs before the nanny came.
Tigs - OH rang me as I was reading your post about Andrew and the extra scan. He wondered why I was in floods and didnt get they were happy tears that Andrews done so well.Im in Longsight so not far from you, was Andrew born at St Marys?
