Wow you were all in bed early last night
Izzy woke at 5am again, but I managed to get her back to sleep for a bit. we were still up at 6:15, but I can live with that.
Bruno did you get a lie in today?

Angela I'm sorry if what I wrote was offensive in any way.:o
Please accept my apology?
FWIW, I did think about Rose, and Dylan and other babies who had a harder start after I wrote that, and hoped none of the mummies would feel I had forgotten their important baby.
What I was clumsily trying to refer to is the feeling I get when I feel so glad about the spooky way that the documentary seemed to randomly givethe extra scan which saved Andrew, and the special new cooling cap that someone thought, 'oh lets try it!' seems to me to have been a huge part of why Rhys is doing so well against some people's odds.
Those things were what seems magical and miraculous to me about their stories, amongst other things.
I'm sorry I don't know enough about Rose's birth to know about those spooky little things that somehow made it ok. But yes, Rose, being so early and being here and so lovely is definately a miracle.:)

Morning all
Sick today, nasty cold/sinus/fever type stuff... weighing up whether it's bad enough to properly call in sick. More likely I'll go in and pick up work laptop (which aggravatingly I left at the office because for once last night I didn't need to work...) then come home and get essential things done while being slack the rest of the time. I feel pretty grim though, we shall see.
Elijah woke at 6 today, much better and was also able to ignore him and let him babble and grouch for nearly an hour before getting up, so some extra dozing there.
OH was very guilty in the morning yesterday, she is just a totally irrational beast when woken from sleep. She didn't remember much of what she'd said and she coped fine all day yesterday so I am not too too worried.0 -
What is the documentary??
Sami - The moses, is it just the basket bit then? Just been reading back and saw your friend needs the stand back. If so don't worry about it hon, I will just bite the bullet and buy that cheap Asda one...I do really like it:) TBH I feel maybe I should buy this baby something new as pretty much everything else I will be using is Kai's........
I am not saying whether I am coming to TC or not, I will either be there or not...sorry to be vague about it but I don't want to say I am coming and then not turn up or say it isn't possible and then suddenly appear!!
D'ya know, my friend who was round yesterday has decided she is not having any more kids so I asked her what she is doing with all the baby stuff....she said keeping it for now 'just in case' You would think she might offer to borrow me bits wouldn't ya?? She has moses, car seat, doppler, all sorts just sitting in her attic and I even dropped a few hints, but nothing!!Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

I'm just watching the program about older mothers on BBC1, going to have to turn it off though
That poor little 7 month old with the 72 year old mother. I'm sorry if others have different views but I just don't think it's right.
I don't think it's right either. My parents are 59 and 64 and look after Charlotte and while they don't mind having her for a few hours in a morning, they've both said they're glad they haven't got her full time! I've no idea how the lady will cope chasing after a toddler, and it's not fair on the child who is not going to have a mother in their life for long. I'm 34 but still rely on advice and help from my Mam!scruffy96uk wrote: »My ex workmate txt me today to say one of the service users had passed away in her dads arms, it was a young lady I was particuarly fond of so will prob end up going home for her funeral. Sorry to hear that. Thinking of you *hugs*My ex-mother rang me tonight, to tell me i only have a problem with her because i'm angry about my ex-OH?? Umm how could that be, it's nothing to do with her and i don't let him affect my life, i only talk about him on here. Then she went on to tell me how i'm such a bad person because i've never had a successful relationship (i'm only bloody 24, i was with ex for 3 years...) This is coming from the sad old hag who drinks 3 bottles of wine a night while sat on her fat lazy !!!! claiming benefits she's not entitled to. I can honestly say i don't want to ever see her again, and i won't regret that if she [STRIKE]pickles her liver[/STRIKE] gets run over by a bus tomorrow I'd be sad, but relieved because all she's ever done is try and drag me to her level. She's trying to say it's me with the problem because my ex left me too. She's welcome to think that, but i might change my number cos i'm not interested in her alcoholic opinions.
I would just ignore her. It doesn't really matter what she thinks. Just walk away and have nothing to do with her anymore. You don't need hassle like that in your life. Here I go again on my own....0
