Harley- are Kezia's hands and feet cold to the touch? Not really sure what to suggest other than to keep an eye on her. Is she feeding as usual? If so I would guess that is a good sign.

BM- to be honest if I was you I would seriously consider going into private rented, the extra cost would be worth the peace of mind wouldn't it?

Aless- hugs for you. Henry was mega fussy tonight, but that was because he refused to sleep in the day. I just couldn't get him to nap, even in the car which is so unlike him.

Hands are warmish whereas sometimes they are quite cool. I'm told this is ok though.

Caz - Just wanted to send you some ((hugs)) not sure what else to say. Just take care of yourself xx

Harley - Like others, and nhs direct says, keep a close eye..making sure she is alert(if she is awake) and not clammy. Did they tell you to get back n touch if there is no change in a certain amount of hours?

I actually have some good news (for a change) My mum has agreed to babysit on Friday, me and dh are actually getting a night out:D He doesn't know it yet, but I thought it would be a nice surprise as he has/had a few exams last week and this week..he also has his motorbike test tomorrow! I thought it could be a kind of celebration if he passes, or a nice treat to cheer him up if he doesn't..... So will be off for either an indian or maybe to chiquito's for some fajitas and cocktails (yes, yes, non-alcoholic for me)

    Mel x

She woke up when I was putting her in her sleeping bag and was all smiles, clear eyes, don't think she is to clammy. Nothing was said about a time period just to ring back if anything changed.

I've taken her up to bed now and set alarm for 3am to check on her. Probably a bit neurotic but I think I'll feel better knowing that I'll wake up to see how she is.

Thanks for the replies, nice that I'm not completely alone.

Off to bed now too since I have a wake up call, lol

Thanks Angela - I hope he does sleep! 3am for the last 3 weeks is very annoying! See you soon

Right, everything done,. DW emptied and kitchen looking tidy-ish! Just peeled OH an orange - yes I peeled him an orange, I even peel him one for his lunchbox cos he moans that the juice might skit on his suit! He is such a pig - he has a HUGE barm with meat/tuna & salad, a handful of cherry tomatoes, an apple, a pear, an orange (peeled), a small chocolate bar & a bag of crisps. Oh and a small Oaty bar thing for mid morning!
Apparently I shouldn't moan cos it only takes a minute to do! (SERIOUS EYEROLLING GOING ON HERE!!)

Not 10pm but it's not gone 11pm for a change. Be on again tomorrow night - gonna play with J in the morning then go Tiny Stars. May brave the Pushchair - OH 'thinks' he's fixed the SC!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

  • Just be aware GISI, that there will be ladies on here who would faint in shock at the thought of doing it that way!! Or at the very least would explain to you why you shouldn't. One of the benefits of this thread is that you get all points of view...one of the downsides is that you don't always get them at the same time!!

Hope Kezia is okay Harley. xx
