becles charlie said 'ohhhhh nice' when he saw charlotte in your avvy! his talking isnt very good yet but he has started to know when to say the right things!
awww that's really sweet - bless him!feelinggood wrote: »Is it okay to tell a freecycler I changed my mind? She sent four emails asking for baby items and seemed desperate, saying she'd collect as soon as convient for me (the ad stated daytime only). When I agreed, she said it'd have to be an evening so I said okay, Monday evening. Another email, no it'd have to be tuesday. I had dozens of requests, can I just tell her this is too much messing?
I would tell her you've changed your mind. You don't need people messing you about at the moment, and it's really cheeky of her considering it's you doing her a favour by giving her the stuff.Dontknowanymore wrote: »
I've decided that I'm going to start now as I mean to go on, been going through alot lately and it's not really going to end anytime soon but rather than dwell on it and feel sorry for myself I'm going to make the best of what I've got, focus on the good things and change my boys and my life for the better.
I know I may be getting ahead of myself but I like to think about the future alot and have decided to do some studying at colege, hopefully in September.
I dont want to go back to work in the care sector hands on, but I like working and dealing with people, so maybe do something that I can pull on my life experiences for, so once I'm moved and settled, I'm going to look into my options.
That's sounds positive - well done lass! It helped me trying to forget what my ex had done and made plans for the future. Make your plan a mix of baby steps and big steps to keep you motivated. You'll feel a real sense of achievement when you can tick things off your plan.redmel1621 wrote: »
OMG had a panic this morning. I went out the side door and noticed the garden gate was open....and the dog was missing from the garden!!
Pleased the dog turned up safe.
That happened to us once! The HV was coming so I put the dogs out in the garden out of the way in case she didn't like dogs. We had Suzy then. Our sitting room windows are at the front and floor length and I was sitting talking to the HV, when there was a tapping on the window. Looked round and there was Suzy tapping on the window and looking in while Bob was just sniffing round the front garden. I said "eeeh that's my dogs out there" and had to go and let them back in. The HV was ok with dogs so they were allowed to stay in, but I felt really stupid
Just discovered there is a Turkish Bath in Newcastle. It's in the City Pool building, just off Northumberland Street. Has any of the locals been?
I love the Turkish baths in Turkey, so I'm keen to investiagte! It's Mothers Day in March and I never know what to buy for my Mam, so I might take her there instead of buying a gift. Here I go again on my own....0 -

Morning all..
Rhys and I have been lazy layabouts this morningOH is still at work - double time overtime, woohoo
I've still got the funny feeling - it's like a rash with nothing to see, feels like sunburn or shaving rash - which apparently you get for 2-3 days before a shingles rash. Today is day 3Will phone docs tomorrow if I've still got it
Nothing exciting going on in Chez Elle today.. more chores and stuff. Busy week ahead so better get as much out the way as possible now
Hope all are well x0
