There is a 23mth gap between the 1st two! I am jealous of those of you who are planning to get pregnant now or in the coming months/years because I know this is most likely my last ickle baby as dh is pretty adamant he is getting the snip...Not really 100% sure how I feel about it, as I know it is the sensible thing to do but I am still fairly young (i think?) and I doon't think I am going to suddenly be less maternal if I CAN'T have any more...will it make me resentful of him?? As for sex of baby...dh family is very male orientated, no girls for generations back on the males side at all.....just very strong male genes, so not much chance of it being a girl, good job I am not too bothered.
Would you have more babies if your dh agreed? Four sounds like a lot to manage, but I suppose once your routine is in place you just slot the littler ones in and it gets easier *shrugs*?
I'm glad you're feeling ok, I do worry about you and Weezlie getting really tired and run down.searching_me wrote: »i know and theres a very good chance of twins so to be honest in a way im sort of dreading another x
Twins?! AWESOME!
Krystal and Glam - I hope you both get the results you're looking for from the sticks - and if one of you wants my BFP you can have it cause it clearly isn't my turn
MFD I think with twins in a one-up-one-down kind of deal I'd put the one that was more tired underneath IYSWIM, or else just alternate them.
I think some of you would like German swimming pools - most public outdoor pools have a nudey-only section.
I'm going to buy that book Mookie - thanks for sharing
I hope you don't have shingles elle
Harley I think ebay's just not doing fantastically at the moment. Seven of my ten things sold last week, three for just 99p (rolleyes) and only one of the 15 is selling at the moment (rolleyes a bit more).Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Morning! My little star did 8:30 til 6:30 so I am a very happy mummy indeed! He's now happily kicking away while I express and have a cuppa. I love that he can now entertain himself and it is so cute to watch.
Harley- I know what you mean about expressing. It can be so frustrating. Have you got a pump? We've got the medela mini which is marvellous and I highly recommend it. I hope Kezia takes the bottle okay.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
redmel1621 wrote: »Awww, does anyone else suffer with sinusitus, only asking because dh does quite badly most of the time and ds2 seems to be the one who it has been passed on to...the other two seem ok?
I do! My Dad does and I keep blaming him for passing dodgy sinus genes onto me :rotfl:
I've just bought a steam inhaler from Boots. It's a bit like a flask shape, with piece that fits on the top that covers your nose and mouth. You fill it with boiling water and a can add a drop of olbas oil or similar, and sit and inhale the steam. It's more intense than the old fashioned tea towel on head over a bowl of boiling water method, as the steam comes up a little hole and straight up your nose.
It's really worth it as I manage to get loads of claggy snot out when I use it and feel so much better afterwards. Dad is using his too and loves it.
It only cost £5.99 and you will find them on the cold and flu remedies section in bigger Boots stores. Definitely worth the money, and much better than taking Sudafed type tablets or using nasal sprays. Here I go again on my own....0 -
mel i can completely understand what you have said in the above quote, a womans mind works in mysterious ways doesnt it! i think i had the same feeling not that i want more children just dont think i could live with the thought that it is so final and that i couldnt ever have any more? (do you know what i mean?)
my lot are great and we have our ups and downs but i couldnt imagine life without them.
Didnt sleep too badly last night so feeling a little better today, i was going to visit my dad today but have started to make excuses already like i dont want to leave the kitten? she woke at 5 and jumped into bed with me purring away, so im not sure if it was that that helped me to sleep lol! whats everyones plans for today? What's for you won't go past you0 -

Is it okay to tell a freecycler I changed my mind? She sent four emails asking for baby items and seemed desperate, saying she'd collect as soon as convient for me (the ad stated daytime only). When I agreed, she said it'd have to be an evening so I said okay, Monday evening. Another email, no it'd have to be tuesday. I had dozens of requests, can I just tell her this is too much messing?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

Quick opinions? Elijah is a bit snotty, seems pretty full of beans and not otherwise sick this morning though. Fri/Sat he was a bit more fragile, and snuffly, but definitely mostly fine today.
Is this a bad thing to expose a week-old baby to?0 -

Email her and tell her that you want to get the stuff out asap and you've had a lot of requests, so can she pick up by (whatever time today) or you'll have to pass it on to the next person. If she's that desperate she'll collect them.Quick opinions? Elijah is a bit snotty, seems pretty full of beans and not otherwise sick this morning though. Bruno, I'd ask owners of baby, making sure to tell them you ate totally fine if they want to wait. Personally, I would prefer not to expose tiny baby to germs.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

tricky one bruno, guessing this is E's cousin? I'd ask the parents to make the decision because only they know whether they'd feel sadder that he didn't see family asap or sadder if newborn got a cold.
If they're really worried about germs could just you go and do proud uncle?
