She does eventually Elle... She hates how it tastes so we do have a bit of an issue getting her to take it but she aways does in the end...

What's also funny is she's always telling me she needs medicine for every minor thing, but when she's actually ill... It's a right mare getting her to take it!!! We used to get orange paracetamol and ibuprofen off the Dr and now anything orange flavour makes her gag lol...

ETA... I love Home Alone... We have the DVD box set :p:D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Glam I'm planning on doing RFL with bubs this year, all being well. I walked it 2 years ago with Mum and Aunt, then last year they both walked it againmwith Sis too and I went ahead and ran it. This year I'll be back to walking! Either with sling or pc, no idea which yet though.

Oh, and FWIW I'm not going to the post office on Monday!

How much extra are you taking, SM? It's never occurred to me to take my hols.. I want/need them paid up! :o
  • Katie loves taking medicine!

When she was a baby we used a syringe and just squirted into her mouth, but once she was on solid food and understood spoons we swapped.

She likes to lick the spoon clean!

She actually asked for some medicine before bed tonight, so she must be still feeling a bit rough after her jab.

BM - my reason for parent facing, Katie suffered alot with conjunctivitis as a baby and wind blowing in her face made it worse, plus I love to look like a mad woman walking down the street singing nursery rhymes and chatting to her.

I saw one of those (I think) with baby twins in it in mothercare and it made me feel a bit sad :( how on earth would I decide which baby I wanted to look at that day?
    ....
My baby is awake and downstairs. He has a bit of a dicky tummy and had soiled his nappy so I brought him downstairs to avoid waking DSS. I am off with a bit of gripewater and a big cuddle to get him back off. Night ladies and bruno xxx
    Draw up a rota? :p
Hope B feels better soon x
It's not at all heavy, bulky in the way that you have to take the seat off to fold it, fun on the park and ride into Chester.

I love it, I wish I'd known about them when I was pg as I would have bought one from birth rather than the Graco!

I think it was about £200 which included the raincover and shopping basket but no cosy toes, but I'd already got a Buggy Snuggle so it didn't matter. Parasol is a separate purchase.

Sorry for the delay in replying, Katie got up complaining of thirst and a sore throat, she requested a brew (her words) and downed it almost in one, gulping noises the lot! After lots of cuddles she's happily gone back to bed, helped by the fact Daddy has also gone to bed (up at 4 in the morning)

I also like that fact that it is independent stores that sell it as it felt more like a personal service IYKWIM.
ooh thank you! me thinks my trip to pramworld will involve more than a quick purchase of an inner tube! :D
Bless Katie wanting a brew, is she still having her bedtime boobie feed? (you did say she skipped it the other day didn't you?)

I think Sami is right, as always!
  • Sami - she's not skipped it since but I have noticed that she's not so keen if it's the feed is downstairs, so I might start doing that a bit more, I'm thinking about a gently encouraging her to drop it IYKWIM.

(I'd like our bf journey to come to an end within the next 12 months so I can start dreaming about #2)

I was confuzzled by the end of the very first episode and gave up.

There will be a couple of biggish boxes and I dont know how i'm going to get from the car with Leila (in her pushchair) with the boxes. Think i'll [STRIKE]just balance one on the pushchair [/STRIKE]get Leila to hold one for me whilst in her pushchair and try to get the other stuff in the pushchair basket. What a faff!

I have 3 pairs of shoes A pair of pink clarks shoes size 4 1/2 F. Pair of Levi Trainers White and pink size 5 velcro fastening. Reebok trainers size 5.
Any takers give me a pm as if you ask on here it will get lost. They are all scuffed so would make ideal play shoes. Not really bad scuffs can send pics if needed.
    ETA All kids sizes.
