Know its a bit late but we use sour cream in our pasta with courgettes and mushrooms ( adapted Jamie Olivers recipe)redmel1621 wrote: »SS - TRIPE!! I always think of it as dog food, cos it's what my mum and her friend used to feed the dogs when we/they were skint in the old days. Apparantly it was really cheap and you could get a big load off the butcher for pennies, we used to have to evacuate the house as it was cooking cos it is rank...:oOoops, enjoy your tripe:p

Think SM has had the 20p for ages.
Hello everyone, well I had the first stress free day in a long time yesterday, it was great!
Then to top it all off, Mum told me she is buying me a car in Feb :j so am now trying to decide what car I want, my budget is £1k, may not seem like alot but all my cars have been £500 or less so to me it's loads!
We are all a bit poorly here, sore throats/coughs etc, Ryry hasn't yet, but I'm sure it will come!
I've decided that I'm going to start now as I mean to go on, been going through alot lately and it's not really going to end anytime soon but rather than dwell on it and feel sorry for myself I'm going to make the best of what I've got, focus on the good things and change my boys and my life for the better.
I know I may be getting ahead of myself but I like to think about the future alot and have decided to do some studying at colege, hopefully in September.
I dont want to go back to work in the care sector hands on, but I like working and dealing with people, so maybe do something that I can pull on my life experiences for, so once I'm moved and settled, I'm going to look into my options.
Still havent managed to start trying to cut out Ryry's night time bottles, might just leave it until we are moved because he'll just get unsettled again wont he.
My Aston is very happy, he's now the proud owner of 10 Ben10 books, thnx MFD xxx0 -
:rotfl:I'm laughing cause Molly's not had a bath in a week and the dirt under her nails is enough to plant a potato field.
Also interested in salt and pepper beancurd - I love tofu.
i only bath K about 2 times a week
thats prob why he's not so keen on themDoes anyone have one of these birth to toddler chairs, wee man can escape his bouncy chair now but it's very useful to have wondering if I should get one.
we've just bought one, read a lot of reviews and all were mostly positive. Kian loves his. also just got a bumbo for PIL/ireland as he loves sitting up but just needs a bit of support.
glam/elle- we bought a fold up activity mat so when we're not using it it can be zipped up and sits behind the tv. his big learn and grrove centre is in the kitchen for when he's awake and i;m cooking/doing dishes or just fancy a change from sitting room. but the sitting room still has the rocker, buggy and bumbo. rocking horse is up in his room as he's too small. once i have his room sorted. his things will stay there when not being used. (thats the plan anyway)
hi dkam!!
sounding nice and positive!!'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
well, first up again. How can that be when Kezia sleeps in so long. I've had a lovely shower, listened to strange noises (not sure if it is tummy or botty but waiting til she wakes up to investigate) and now am sat watching my lovely things not selling on ebay.
I don't think this time on a Sunday morning is the best time to list as I had loads of watchers (though I've lost a few during the week) and only 3 things have sold for starting price with 15 doing nowt!!! Trouble is I can only sit and list when Kezia is asleep which is now.
Desperately hoping my changing unit sells today, as I really need both the room and the money. It's 3rd time of listing though so I'm not holding my breath.
...
Hope you all have a great day,

My dad was a twin, and I started out one but the other foetus didn't get too far (my mother was really bewildered because she was told she'd miscarried but was still pregnant and was a bit out of it so didn't quite understand). Twins run in OH's family too and we were a bit gutted when there was only one Molly - but she's awesome enough for two
I'm considering a cheapish weekend in the UK to buy a bed. German beds don't come in the size we want and it isn't really something I want to buy onlineOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

My mum's a twin but they're non-identical so not sure if that runs in families - 2 seperate eggs instead of one which splits.
I've been and had car cleaned this morning, then went to car boot and got Josh a box of lego for a fiver. Not got Caitlyn dressed yet - can't be bothered!
SS - good excuse for a little holiday though!Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -
Morning...main job of the day is to hang the new living room door. I have planed it down so it fits and I am just having a lunch break then will get the hinges and handles sorted...
Becles - Thanks for the tip on the steamer, I will definitely look out for one when we next go near big boots.
SS - I would be happy to have more kids, maybe another one or two!! I would have loved twins previously but am actually glad this time that it is a single, with having Kai so young it would have been really hard work.
Have fun looking at sofas sami....our new one is due to be delivered in 3wks, I am soo excited.
SM - Have a sit down, I am worn out just reading your list!!!
OMG had a panic this morning. I went out the side door and noticed the garden gate was open....and the dog was missing from the garden!! Dh jumped in the car and I was shouting my head off for him up and down our street. Dh drove back past to see if he had come back and just happened to spot him poking his head out from a shelter in the pub car park...which is literally opposite our house!!!
