Thanks Elle, yes still enjoying ML. Got some batch cooking done so we have almost 3 weeks worth of dinners in the freezer now. Been getting plenty of sleep and the nursery furniture will be finished today if DH can tear himself away from the football. Then I can put the rest of the baby stuff away and we'll be all set.

Got my birth pool on Friday too so inflating that tomorrow ready for reaching 37 weeks on Tuesday!

I'm so excited now, can't wait!

So Glam, are you leaving your new job then? (I'm a bit confused!)

Elle - I was just reading that it's here

It says if you are not returning to work you give notice in the normal way but its under the 52 week thing. Think I'll ring ACAS & see what they say, I've just double checked the letters from work & it does say I will get the bank holidays tagged on. I bet they won't give me the 2.5 holidays for May as my last day will be Monday 25th May! They will argue its not a whole month!
Could I ask for 4 days unpaid Parental Leave? would mean I was employed til end of May & definitely get the holiday entitlement for May!

Still won't load for me :(

I know our company wouldn't give you the May holidays if you finished on 25th (took me some thinking to remember! :o), would be whole months only. Don't know about the PL, suppose it's worth a try :)

    Hurrah for walking Ryry!

After telling OH that lifting Molly in the air and making her "fly" right after a feed was a bad idea, she projectile vomited on him.

    I feel entirely vindicated :rotfl:

my excuse is that I have no care for J on those 4 days so wouldnt be able to back. I could just use 4 days holidays to get the extra 2.5 - I'd just be unpaid for those 4 days and would get the holiday in pay so it doesn't make a difference IYSWIM

Ahh I see. I thought you were going to new job after ML but hadn't realised you hadn't handed notice in for old job yet!

This has been the quickest 25 weeks of my life! (The first 12 weeks went incredibly slowly!)
