Anyone who buys any of these brands - Lenor, Fairy Auto Dish or Fairy Liquid, Flash, Pampers, Gillette Male Disposable Razors, Pantene, Silvikrin and Nice ‘n Easy - might want to take a look at this :) Particularly if you're stocking up on Pampers in Asda!

I don't feel like a newbie. This thread is invaluable for me because i don't have anyone to ask stuff, and it's reassuring to get opinions on stuff so i know i'm not doing it all wrong, even though i've done it with DS it's a distant memory. So i probably seem to post more because a) i waffle anyway, and b) i don't have any 2nd opinions from an OH/mother/close friend.
But thinking maybe i should build up the questions and post in one go, less often so i don't clog up the thread with my frequent need for opinions/advice/company.

Squishy, sorry about your friend, how awful for her, ahes in my thoughts.

Beenie, Id say just post as you think of them, Someone who might be able to help with one thing might not be able to help with another and if its been partially answered you might find yourself being skimmed over

    Hello all,

just skimmed a few pages while Isla's feeding. Hope everyones well and littlies are behaving.

Squishy how awful for your friend, as you said it really brings it home to you. I know just what you mean about feeling like you might jinx yourself by thinking or talking about it.

Ive got some bambino mio's but havent tried them yet :o Ive stuck to the tots bots and bambinex as their shaped like disposables so I find them a lot easier. I really should work out how to use the others!

I think it was SM wondering how to get from Piccadilly to TC, you can jump on the metro inside the train station then the shuttle bus which I think is about £5 from memory or if you walk from the train station to the bus depot a dayrider's £3.50, its about a 5/10 min walk. Sorry if someones already told you, I missed a few pages out so you may already know now.

Hmm, my DD doesnt seem too impressed with Take That? Maybe she isnt mine after all!

Emlou/3/Mel, I am sorry you have felt like this recently.

This is not meant to be a criticism of anyone, but I don’t think it’s fair to blame the newer members of the thread for the amount of posts. The stats clearly show who posts the most and it’s not the new people (and it’s not a dig at those who do post more!). I class myself as a newbie, and anyone who has come after me, but I am not sure who you guys class as newbies and when you are no longer classed as one. Also, although some people are new to the thread, they may not be new to parenting and therefore could have useful opinions and advice.

Beenie – you should continue to ask questions if and when they arise. The chances are that if you post a mammoth post (as I feel I often end up doing!), it will be too long to read. I think everyone does it differently though. When I don’t have time to keep up, I skim read but probably pay more attention to those whom I have something in common with or who have been friendly and welcoming to me. I am sorry that I don’t respond to everyone, but it’s impossible. I am trying to post less.
