Emlou- sorry for not asking you to the meet. To be honest I had it in mind that Basingstoke is a pain to get to from you, but I guess it's just along the m27 and up the m3. maybe we could do Southampton or Winch next time? And I hope we're still meeting in Poole with the West country lot!
In laws have driven me mental but are now gone. If I wasn't on the wagon for January I'd be having a stiff drink now.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

Weezl, have you tried your local netmums for sale board? I was looking at ours earlier and there were a couple of BN birthing pools which hadn't been required because Mum had needed to have a hospital birth in the end..

The best thing I have spent my money on since having Katie is her swimming lessons. Half an hour a week and she can swim short distances on her own, no arm bands or flotation aids. She has also learnt important life saving techniques such as heading for the wall and holding on.
We've had split pea and frankfurter soup with croutons for our tea tonight - a cheap Nigella recipe which is a first. Katie wolfed it down too.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Must have been someone else weezl I didnt have the birth weights of my 2 in my sig:p
Altho if ur interested DD1 was 39weeks induced and weighed 6.11 and DD2 was natural at 39 +4 and weighed 8.1 so quite a big difference ( and also 14 years apart

Happy birthday to your DD angela - Mine was 16 last thursday! people often ask her if Roo is hers!!!!!!!!
Have just politely told the scum bag next door how unbecoming it is when he spits on the floor ( in the nicest possible way!!!!!)
Wonder if its too early to send them a 'good luck in your new home' card - think they will realise they are being evicted

Evening....I don't think I even mentioned newbies in any of my posts, I was merely saying it is busy with posts, not posters as I was trying to ensure no-one felt singled out!:( I am very sociable and love meeting new people on here or irl:)
Ds2 has gone on a sleepover for his friends birthday he went at 4.30 and will be back in the morning about 10.30, so we went out to a Hungry Horse, Kai was hilarious. After we finished eating I was wiping the table in front of his with a napkin as it was a bit wet and sticky, I then just pushed the napkin to one side and Kai grabbed it and started wiping the table himself...he has never done anything like that before:rotfl: I was laughing my head off then he pushed it back to me so I could wipe again, we then sat for the next 10mins taking it in turns to wipe the table:rotfl:
SS - Sorry to hear you are upset about the result...I really hope it happens for you soon;)
Squishy - i am so sorry to hear your friends news, I miss my booys when they are just away for one night...I couldn't imagine life without any of them, in fact when I am pregnant I have terrifying dreams usually involving losing one or all of the kids, or them losing me, in some way, not always dying...I can't imagine her grief at the moment.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0
