Weezl, I am Cardiff born and bred but now live just over the border - however, I am less than an hour away and frequently come to Cardiff to vists friends and family so would love to arrange a mini-meet, if that's ok with you :o

I would love that, thank you :)

Aless, of course! Thank you You're right about JHA :o. I'm so sorry if you're reading this chick, I loved meeting you at cafe junior that time and I'd really love to meet orit-rhian very soon. I guess I'm a bit forgetful when I'm feeling glum, like I was earlier.

Newbies you are very welcome :D:beer: I don't know much about BF, but I am still here listening. Also older ones, we still need you too!

In fact everyone is very needed and loved. We are like a full house party of people and their babies and sometimes it's hard to mingle cos you've got stuck by the buffet table. But we'll all catch up with everyone eventually :)

I'm okay - it's weird, you know? Have this horrible feeling like even mentioning it might jinx me and it could happen - feel awful for thinking like that, feel so sorry for the poor girl. We're all meeting up next week and I think we might be sending her some flowers.

Edit: meant to say earlier - I would love to meet you weezl, but am really too far away so send lots of virtual meeting up hugs. :)
Thanks squishy :) hugs to you too.

Cot death is such a horrid tragedy. As em says, we realise just how lucky we are. I know what you mean about even the words feel scary. What a shock for your little group of mums. xxx

awww jillie that's an adorable photo!!

Fitzio - don't post less! you always have good stuff to say and it's silly to self-impose a limit, especially as of course we like to hear how Holly's doing

well my little man has been asleep since 1!! I'm tempted to wake him just b/c I'm always scared that sleeping too much in the day = no sleep at night, but then again the usual mantra is don't wake a sleeping baby *insert confused face*

also tried the 5 S's technique (does anyone else use this?) earlier when he was wailing and he stopped crying almost instantly! will have to keep trying to see if it's a fluke or not.

boogelley - I have 1 bambinex I picked up in a Boots clearance and every time I've used it, it's leaked! so not sure on those, but honestly other nappies are very little extra effort IMO. Are the mio's an all-in-one or multi part system?
