    Hi Weezl

Using the boy one I think (don't remember seeing many choices on the website) - fold the top bit down and then into thirds if that makes sense? I think there is just so much material between her legs when folded that it holds them apart :rotfl:Like us wearing ten sanitary towels!

Thanks SS - we are actually using both B Mio and disposables at the mo to try and get a balance between movment and 'good for the bum-ness' with the cloth. We also do have a lot of nappy free time so hopefully it won't stop her doing too much. If I know it does get better, I won't offer the nappies to the fairies just yet (which I discussed with OH just yesterday cos of my poor bow legged baby :D).

    Thanks both.

Hugs to all (no chance of mentioning everybody and I worry bout leaving people out etc so hugs to all will be my sign off I think) xxx

.. Elle, yeah only mockery. Mean bunch! Fergie's going to his first friend's birthday party today at 4 :) Friend is 1. I'll report back what she did. She's got a 4-6 slot for his baby friends, a 6 til whenever slot for his grown up friends and a 2-4 ish slot tomorrow for family :D

Thankyou :) Rhys' birthday is a Monday so it'll be good to be able to do something on the weekend before.. (Claire, what are you doing for Reece? We can't clash! ;) xx).
  • Sorry Em, I didn't read the list closely enough of who was going to see you weren't on it. Skim reading again :o. I'm sure we will do another one though. What days do you work?

And Elle, what a difference :) Are you sure he isn't photoshopped ;)

Why is it that when you put special effort into making something for baby to eat all they want is a banana? I shouldn't have bothered!

Weezl - nothing helpful to say really, but they do say most babies are born at night, so hopefuly he will go up to bed and wake up in the morning with a new baby brother!

Oops, Izzy has the bag of nappysacks!

Let's hope Fergie doesn't expect Weezl to perform that trick too often! :D :rotfl:

    Hi all,

raining here today again so I think we're going to be having an 'at home' day. I have been out to the post office to pick something up, and to the library to bring back a (late!) book, and treated ourselves to a breakfast from the bakery which we haven't done in ages :)

Did get some sad news today though: one of the girls from my anti-natal group lost her baby last week from cot death :( It really brings it home to you when your little one is close in age...I don't know what I would do witout my baby, and just have to pray that it never happens. Sorry to bring the thread down a bit: just needed somewhere to share to try and sort it out in my head a bit.

That must be an awful thing to go through - poor lass. Thinking of her and her family.
Here I go again on my own....

    Hi all

Dont really have time to catch up. Busy day here. Its DD1's 16th birthday and we're going out tonight with quite alot of family for a meal. DD has some shoes she bought and was looking for a dress to wear them with. She hasnt been able to find out so want me to take her out. I have to sort out myself and Rose too but i suppose being 16 and not having ' something ' to wear is a crisis!

Wont be back on till tomorrow so will try to catch up. Hope everyone is well tho did read what Squishy posted and cannot imagine what they must be going through x

How awful Squishy, I think it would freak me out a bit too if I knew someone it had happened to. We are all so lucky really. Each and every one of us may grump about our OH's not doing the washing up, staying out late, and our LO's not eating or sleeping, but those things are nothing really are they. Hope you're ok xx

I'm ever so glad there's a meet up of lots of you, but can I admit to feeling a bit jealous that there's a southern England contingent and a scottish contingent and a Wazza/manchester contingent. And Elle and Claire. And MFD and Kristal. And a london contingent.

And in Wales just a weezl :(:o:)

Weezl, I am Cardiff born and bred but now live just over the border - however, I am less than an hour away and frequently come to Cardiff to vists friends and family so would love to arrange a mini-meet, if that's ok with you :o

Have only skim read a couple of pages, but just wanted to say I've felt exactly the same way as Mel for a couple of weeks now, hence my not posting quite as much :(

I think its cos we've had a huge influx of new pregnancy threaders with babies still of an age that they stay where you put them and sleep most of the day ;) your times will come!! Mwohahahaha! :rotfl:

Em, as one of the newbies, I am truly sorry you feel like that but may I just say that I don't spend lots of time on here because I have a newborn (well 9 week old!) that doesn't sleep for most of the day - or the night for that matter!Anyway, I am sorry for all regulars who feel inundated with all us newbies and our incessant (sp?) questions!
