    I think it's quite possible some payments could be issued because the weather stations may be triggered because in some areas the cold snap is lasting until Thursday/Friday.

    We've got snow here - and the main roads haven't been cleared, so it's horrible driving! I always think that snow seems warmer, though, in comparison to the ice we have had in the last few days. So probably no cold weather payment for us!

    Interesting...despite living in sheffield they apparently base the cold weather payments for my area on the temp in nottingham :eek:
