The Postcode search showed 2 payments listed today.
I received the 1 i was expecting this morning.
Ive spoken to someone on the phone, he says they have only issued 1 payment for my area, and he is not aware of a second one!!
Makes a mockery of this on the website:
The Met Office have notified the Department for Work and Pensions that 2 periods of very cold weather have occurred in the HX postcode area between 1 November 2009 and 30 December 2009, triggering Cold Weather Payments.
If you have qualified for Cold Weather Payments since 1 November 2009 and live in this postcode area, you should have received 2 Cold Weather Payments.
I love the bit that says ''you Should have Received'' :rolleyes:Oh what's the bloody point...?0 -

The governments website says I should have received 1 weather payment today but we havent, although my carers allowance has gone in early (due mon), wasnt expecting that.***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0

Could somebody please clarify this for me
My daughter in law receives long term Incapacity Benefit and Lower Rate DLA for both mobility and care and my Grandson receives DLA Highest Care Rate and Middle Rate Mobility so I am assuming they do not qualify as my daughter-in-laws benefit's are not income-related? There is also a child under 5 years old.0 -
i think you would get it as you get i/b but not 100% sure, forget dla itself you dont get it for reciept of that unless you get a disability premium, simple way to find out is get a mini statement from the banks hole in the wall, look for a £25 payment listed as dwp.0

My postcode has been triggered twice and I've received 1 payment this morning.
I also got my child benefit & CA today which I wasn't expecting as it's due on Monday & it's just a normal day, not a bank holiday?Dum Spiro Spero0 -
