well i have had a very long convo with job centre and that postcode search means nothing. it says my postcode has 2 triggers, but according to them they get told by weather station and weather station says my postcode has no triggers. but it been iced and frozen for weeks outside and the lowest temp was -5.5 on 6th so i dont know.
but she sed i have no triggers and am not getting any payments, she sounded nice and she says sorry but many people have phoned up because direct gov has told them thier postcode has triggers but unfortunately its not the same details as thier own.

therfore id phone instead of checking on then i thought i was getting £50 turned out i get £0. good luck every1 else with theres.
yes the weather stations do alert them, the dwp put the trigger dates on their own direct, gov website in the from of a postcode checker. then their computers scan the lists of benefit claimants, pick out who should get the cwp when triggered and send it automatically, however i heard stories on here of the scan having missed people out from the list.

i guess ya just have to speak to the right advisor on the day donna, ive quoted the postcode checker twice to i/s and have never been told that, 2 min phone call, give me ya postcode and they told me both times the date it goes in the bank.

Finally we have found out why we havent received are CWP, because we are not down with the job centre as having a child.. How stupid are they when we filled out all the forms we had to put this bloody details on it to...
Now we have lost out on £75 heating money.

No your not out you dispute it! This is the carry on now that children are your CTC award rather than on your IS/JSA/ESA award.

seems a lot of people have had the runaround, i would wait until you feel like ringing and call them back, i must point out i have never rang jobcenters i have always rang income support. did they actually ask for your ni number to check if your entitled?.

Well let's think about it for a tiny minute. The postcode checker is from funnily enough the direct.gov site (DWP) maybe they just thought you know what just for the crack of it we will stick a postcode checker on the site and it will mean diddly

i agree if your eligable then any cwps you should have had since they were triggered you should get backdated, deffo get back them on to them and kick up a stink, ask this time to speak to a supervisor.

Just to confirm postcode checker shows I am entitled to 3 CWP and guess what that's exactly what the lovely bloke at Clydebank BDC just told me also. So looks like the postcode checker is correct.

E2A: though he did say a lot are getting done manually and it may take a while before it hits my bank account, it may come as 3 x £25 or just as £75 just told to keep an eye on bank account.
