Hello all :j
Not done a lot today. Young girl came up to clean up a bit then hurt her wrist so I made her stop and leave the stairs and landing -they weren't too bad anyway. Think she just twisted it a bit but I've done it myself and it can be quite painful.
Sorted out paper for covering shoe box for sons birthday pressies -thats tomorrows job.........I think;)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hello everyone
I have been very quiet today because I am trying to control the urge of wanting to buy pretty sale items instead of money saving! Have resisted the S&G so far but I'm feeling weak and an evening dress with lovely earrings that will match the bolero I bought for Birthday/Christmas 2010 is calling, must resist!!
Actually hubby is getting rather peeved at the amount of stuff I have ordered over the last month, mostly none of it was for him
On the bright side I am awaiting my £50.00 cheque from Dooyoo and currently back up to £11.00 but not many people are rating my reviews which has demotivated me a fair bit.
I also received 4 Boots vouchers for £5.00 off £20 spend omn baby products, and a £6.00 voucher to use on pampers
Trundling through the survey sites, so close yet so far on Toluna for a L2S voucher, sigh.
Oh and I received a baby product to test today, but I really can't think of how I would possibly use it :rotfl:
Please help me refrain from spending! We need the next money challenge on ASAP to set me back on track!
Hope everyone is well today :jComping wishlist for 2017

Hi there guys!
I just thought I'd mention here for those planning to make Jars of... or jams, pickles etc for Christmas 2010.
Poundland have boxes of 2 Kilner style jars for £1. They are quite squat and squarish IYKWIM so look quite cute (if a jar could be cute). Dimensions are roughly 12cm high and 10cm diameter. They can take 750ml comfortably and the seal on my jars is good so I'd not hesitate to use them for jam etc.
HTH someone, MrsB.
It's only a game

Forgot to say, tidied, vacummed washed up, sorted all the mess and did a dump run today. House is spotless and now have space to store all the Christmas presents I have bought so far.
This is the first year I have been so organised and I am loving it, and loving all the support you all offer and sharing how we are getting on xComping wishlist for 2017

Hi all it was good to see your latest purchases and those were some good things you bought mum2one. I like the shoe.
I've been making a list of cards I want to get apart from the usual birthdays e.g. get well, sympathy, congratulations, new home etc as well as blank cards suitable for men..
You know I mentioned before that I had given my son a greeting card folder full of cards for each month and the recipients addresses already written - well I phoned him this week to ask if he'd sent his brother a card as his birthday was earlier in the week - No, he replied :mad:0 -
Thanks Savvy, I really appreciate what you just said then. I'm loving all the support too. It's fantastic, so thankyou ladies. Give yourselves a big pat on the back. (p.s. haven't been on dooyoo today so will do it after dinner)
Anglea - doesn't it get you mad? My Dad did exactly the same thing! (I gave him a calender with all Birthdays written on).
Rufus, you take care, have a couple of paracetamol and an early night. Hopefully you'll feel a bit better in the morning. Have a good weekend, whatever you get up to and take care xxx.
Nice to see you back, if only for a short while Sarah.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
