Hi All
Thougth I'd pop ina dn catch up as Ive been gone for a bit.
Firstly - can I please get added to the first post 'EXPECTING IN 2010' list. My new little bundle is expected on July 1st 2010 and was a bit of a shock but am happily 18 weeks pregnant at the minute and I've only known for about 2 weeks!:eek::eek::eek: but delighted none the less.
Have worked out my money for this year already - well done it by month and have got my idea for my savings plan, birthday present budget and then saving for little one and Christmas too.
Setting my own challenge of £140 for food shopping fro 2 adults, 1 5 year old, step son on weekends, 2 terrapins and a jack Russell so wish me luck all but I figure then that I will have money saved over for baby and then one little one is here safe and sound that will change to Xmas savings which means I should get £300 by Christmas if I'm careful and follow all my gift making ideas.
Look forward to talking to you all soon.
Love

Congrats sammy must of been quite a shock finding out so many weeks in. No morning sickness then? I've got 9weeks left till my bubs is due eeek.
Desperately trying to get as organised as i can before the arrival.
Think i'm doing pretty well tho, got another xmas pressie sorted yesterday for my younger bro, total football fanatic. Went to our local footie shop that was having a sale and managed to get him a jacket that he wanted reduced from £40 down to £10:j, last one in his size too. Think my mum has caught the bug now:p, she's just moved but as she's unpacking she's puutting any unwanted xmas gifts to one side to re-gift. She normally gives them away to family and friends but i suggested re-giffting instead which she'd never thought of.£387.39/£196.46
Pay my debt by End of Feb 2022
49.28% paid!
£199.55/£500 savings by End of April 2022
39.91% saved!

I managed to clear the fridge freezer out yesterday, a few hidden suprises so will use up what I've got before spending anymore
Just had a quick look at Halfcost - never been on there before - some good little bargains to be had - thanks for the tipTrying to be money neutral for christmas0 -
Mum2one - thinking of you and your family.
Elysia2003 - Hope your head feels better now. Migraines are awful aren't they? I used to get them a lot when I was younger but then they just eased off. Now I only seem to have them if I'm particularly stressed at work.
Sammy_Kaye - congratulations!! What a lovely surprise, hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -

Mum2One - so sorry to hear your sad news, my thoughts are with you and the family xx
I haven't been very MSE in January - been working far too much, and not spending as much time on the pc as I should. I have a lot of things already sorted out to be ebayed/car booted just need the time to do it. Have made the £50 on ebay this month thanks to a couple of decent sales in the last couple of days, I am going to try for this every month as this will pay for our holiday spending money.
I've got lots of kids clothes to list but it is so time consuming, and dd wants more mummy time on my days off now, its never easy is it!
I still need to redo the freezer, but will definitely try and do this over the next week or so. Thanks mum2one for keeping us all on track!Motto: You gotta be in it to win it!:j
2015 Objective - Pay off credit cards/Overpay mortgage
2015 Wins: Nothing yet, but keeping trying :T0 -
I've just bought another Christmas present from WHSmith. It's for my sister, she loves astrology, tarot, reading tea leaves etc. I bought her an astrology report gift box.
She can choose to have a birth report, friendship compatability report or a romance report based on the position of the stars and planets when she was born. She'll absolutely love it. I loved it too (it was reduced from £26.99 down to £10)
Also got DD1 some No7 facial wipes as little present for her birthday £1.25 with £5 boots voucher and Soap and Glory 3 body spray set a third off! I think i'm finally getting the hang of this, as I don't use No7 etc they usually go in the bin.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Hello all :j
First off -hugs to mum2one (((((:o))))))
Congratulations to all those mums to be - making me feel like a right old granny................lol
And a lazy one at that..........still haven't done bedroom (was so cold this morning when I got up it put me off going up there again -daft really cos once the heatings on its lovely up there)
So instead I converted two empty mocha boxes into gift boxes -covered them with paper and punched holes to make handles out of ribbon. One of them is for little grandson for easter - putting a flannel bunny in it with mini eggs inside..........thought I'd be adventurous and do a felt rabbit & stick it on the outside........all's going well, even managed to give it one floppy ear............lol
Got a bit stuck on what to do about the nose......colour ? Not a clue apart from brown .............any ideas ?
Foster daughter called so that stopped me doing anything at all -too busy chatting...........so thats my day (now feeling guilty for not doing bedroom/clearing kitchen cupboards and sorting through the pile on my desk !)
I keep saying 'tomorrow' but it never comes does it:oI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
