My freezers are both sorted out, we keep them sorted now as I do meal plans each month before we do the big shop then I make a list of what we need so we have at least a meal a day for all of us for the month. We are spending so much less on shopping now per month.
Have been busy all day today, have just about finished making two of the fabric storage boxes from Jammy's blog, just need to reinforce the sides a bit and stick the bottoms in and that will be my two sister's main Xmas presents done.
Found a lady on Ebay who was selling fabrics for quilting and she was selling them in large bundles so bought two bundles for £25 and they came today (only bought them yesterday). Have sorted them out and cut the strips up to make a double quilt for both my son and eldest daughter. There is enough to do the top of one completely and nearly enough for the other one too so wont have to buy too much more so I am over the moon. Need to get some sewing thread in and I can make a start on them.
Daughter's True Blood books came today too for her birthday so doing really well at the moment.0 -

Here's another cheap face mask.
This mask is great for soothing chapped, sunburned or otherwise irritated skin.
For oily skin, add a couple drops of lemon or lime juice.
For dry skin, mix in a couple tablespoons of honey.
Ingredients:- 1 cup natural yogurt (we like it just-out-of-the-fridge cold)
- ½ cup oats (any type of basic porridge oats)
Mix the ingredients together.
Apply to the skin for 10-15 minutes.
Wash off mask with a washcloth steamed in the microwave (careful that it's not too hot).
Another fun option for oat face masks:
Egg whites. Mix the oats and an egg white. Let the mixture dry on face, then gently wash off with a few splashes of warm water. Follow with a steaming washcloth to the face.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Managed to get some 'me' time yesterday and painted my toes with my no7 deep red nail polish I bought with my snowy, looks very glamourous!
So to make up for treating myself first I started on the bedroom as we have a surveyor round tomorrow and a new kitchen and bathroom being fitted in less than two weeks. Can't believe how big a job it is, half way through, need more bin bags before I carry on. On the bright side found plenty of things to ebay, will order my camera later and hopefully my ebay sales will replace the cost.
How is everyone else getting on, eaten all your face masks yet? :rotfl:Comping wishlist for 2017

My photobox collage arrived today! (thanks susan42!!)
I have to say it turned out really well - I somehow imagined it would be alot smaller, but it was a lovely size - I might have to go back on there and get some more stuff now - they e-mailed me to say that I have 10% off my next order...tempting!
I spent this morning sorting through all of my gifts and have wrapped the Christmas presents and some birthday presents - I need to get some nice girly wrapping paper for my female recipients so I can get those wrapped too.Thrifty Gifty February make £20 challenge £21.05/£20.0 -

With it being nearly the first again, I need to fill out my spreadsheet with my recent purchases. I should do it as I go along but I bought that much stuff at Boots I couldn't be bothered.
You're organised Jane - I have paper etc but I'll wrap mine closer to christmas, it will help me get in the Christmas spirit without having the hassle of going the shops.
I have yet to treat myself. I've had a spring clean (found a few more things for ebay too) I'll have my treat over the weekend. :beer:I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
