Hi, I've just visited the Vistaprint site via quidco and should earn £6.50 for registering as a new customer - have ordered a mug and pen for my sister.
Thanks again Mum2one for the Santa challenges - I tackled the fridge/freezer yesterday and got rid of loads of science projects and out of date stuff - I found some things in the freezer from 2007! I don't have a frost-free freezer, so just had to hack some of the ice away as didn't have time for a full defrost - still the door closes properly now without having to shut one of the drawers a certain way to let it close (due to ice being stuck at the back!) :rotfl:
DD1 is off sick so probably won't get much done today other than making sure the bedding gets dry in case she has another episode or one of the others starts!
Hope everybody is having a great day.
Thats a nice find in the freezer!! the mind boggles, we cheat and use the hairdryer on mid heat, to give any stuborn ice a quick blast....
Hope DD1 get s better soon, its the midnight bed change that gets me... xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
susan - or anyone else who knows ? Just had a look at vista site and sorted out 5 pens........when it got to checkout there was only one............. Does that mean that I have to pay separate delivery on each one ?
It might be worth weighing up whether to order the free pen 5 times (5 sets of p+P) or have the freebie and price up the other 4.
I had one done for uncle at Xmas, compliacted as hes "grandad", he loved his pen, and I managed to get a little pen stand with a globe on it, the original pen had gone missing, so had it for £1.00
Def worth keeping an eye out with Vista, as I get the personalised calenders for xmas, the full size ones think they come up free, then put own photos and comments, signed up the whole household so we get the best deals,

Sounds like these fridges and freezers are coming along well, dads doing the freezer nxt week, bless him!!
Miss Hoodie helping with the fridge, shes currently earning wii time, and is doing everything perfectly, she come straight home and did her reading, shes only suppose to do 10 mins, but did 30 mins and finished the book.
The 1st time she used hers 2ngt, I had a go at Tennis, not ideal to do by sitting in chair... then bowling, even had mother on it.......
Had a nice surprise from mum, shes had a rough time since her stroke last yr, since Nov, she really struggles, so shes treated me to go and see the Agatha Christie play at our theatre at the weekend, she booked b4 xmas, got front row seats, managed to keep it quiet..... thou bless her, as were both registered on the system at theatre as disabled, if anyone comes with us, we get the tickets half price, as there the carer... apparently she booked both of us, said yes to the totaland she got 4 tickets... so now a family outing.... the thoughts there bless her.
Hope everyone ok, love the sound of the £1 items for valentines, treat Miss Hoodie... got to pop into town 2mor sort out some money, so may have a peep if anything left in Boots. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Spending today and tomorrow doing the whole house and freezers, we have a surveyor coming round on Friday and can't bare the idea of them seeing mess!
Will be sorting a few hours of me time over the weekend to pamper myself whilst hubby looks after DD, shall be painting my nails having a relaxing bubbly bath and making a homemade face pack. And using as many toiletries that I had from Christmas as I can.
Should really start by taking the Christmas tree down :rotfl:Comping wishlist for 2017

Love your logic there, if it wasn't for the surveyor coming round Friday I would leave it up! I agree we need something to fill the empty space, perhaps a festive 11 months of the year tree? Wishful thinkingComping wishlist for 2017

And I thought I was bad!!! I usually put ours up on the 6th November!!! It's only that late because it feels wrong putting it up before bonfire night.
Parcel delivery man has just been with goodies I ordered from the Grabbit Board.
I got a lovely tote bag with cats on for my mums friend (£1.00) and and lovely tea for one teaset (£1.00) and some magnetic strip so Elysia and my neice (who I look after while her mum's at work) can make fridge magnets for little valentine presents (50p).I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
