Fab Challenge Mum2one & MissHoodie :j
Can't wait to get stuck in next week, and I have a few mini challenges brewing:D. Hoping next week will be better than this week and hoping to get my laptop back working this time so I can update the blog and go online without having to wait 15mins for a website to load up lol
Off to see ASTRO BOY today with the kids, courtesy of the Free Cinema tickets Thread on the Freebies board so not about much toay. Did some shopping yesterday, got a few more bits in boots and some bits out of the new B&M's that has opened on the Fort. So a few more pressies knocked of the list :j I also picked up the new argos catalogue (well 3 of them - One for Me and one each for the kids) DS1 has marked all the Dr Who stuff and DS2 all the DS games lol:rotfl:
Right better go, coffee cup is empty and need to get the kids sorted.
Take Care

ooh excellent mum2one the bairns room is the room I was about to tackle today, but now I can attack it with this challenge in mind, it might actually get done now... I have frost free but the fridge and freezer def. need stripping out and cleaning so thanks for the challenges I feel a good day is ahead.
Off to b and m later as I've seen a cool photo frame for 3.99 for his mam for mothers day that matches her clock (will put piccies of the kids in it which I know she likes) and with her boots treats I bought her will mean mother in laws day will have cost only 6.24 for a present that looks like it cost nearer 20 pounds, mothers day... how organised am I!!!0 -
Excellent challenges! I wasn't expecting them to be on yet and I got very excited when I saw them :j.
Most of the tasks are things I've been meaning to do for a while, so now that they're part of the challenge I'm more likely to do them. My parents store all my son's old stuff ready for when we have the next child (they have SO much more room than we do) and they are coming to visit in half term, so I will hopefully be able to give them a few binbags of clothes and toys to take back
If I'm lucky I'll be having a trip into town later so I might pop into Boots to see if they have anything left. Doesn't matter if they haven't as DH got some good stuff on Wednesday, just fancy a look myself really!
Have a relaxing Sunday everyoneMaking money for Christmas 2012!0 -

Thou I spent £14.00 did 2 of the £5 lots and brought her a doggie purse, £4.oo don't mind...... but don't think theres anything for me!!
Then Home Bargains - came to a comprimise, for some reason jeand and herdo not get on, I could try 30 pairs of jeans different styles, sizes, shop and we'd be lucky to get one to fit her, while we were down Devon at New Year, found some boyfriend style jeans that roll up as well (£3.00 in sale - she had 2 prs this size, 2 prs next size) moaned she doesn't like them...

Nice to have a kick up the bum with the challenges! Most of this I already started, but now it's a challenge I must finish it.
Haven't staarted with the Valentines one yet, but I have plans, just need to get organised so I can make it all when hubby isn't in and DD is asleep. Hopefully I will find some time.
I fancy having a go at the homemade pampering session, although hubby will moan about the untold amount of toiletries I got over christmas that isn't being used, who knows they may be just as good and I might keep them in my favourites for extra money saving. I fancy making a face mask so will definately have a look to see what I can find.
Shant be doing the freezer one :rotfl:But I have started sorting DD old clothes. Will ebay once I can afford a new camera.
When should these challenges be completed by? Because if its the end of January I have no hope !Comping wishlist for 2017
1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuffThe more you put into life, the more you get out0 -
Lol thank you there mine
Mum2one Thanks for the challenges - I have started decluttering my house (have joined the Great Declutter thread on OS Moneysaving), so fortunately have already decluttered DD1 and DD2's bedroom and DS bedroom. Have also made a good started on mine and DH's. Have been sorting through Xmas & Birthday gifts, but have nowhere to stote at the moment so they are in boxes on top of my wardrobe - don't want to put them up in loft as they will get damp. DD1 has had a couple of party invites already so had bought 4 books for £5 in the Works the other day, so have a couple of presents on standby!
Desperately need to sort out the fridge / freezer and try to work out what some of the things are that are buried in there! I hate this job, but now you've set the challenge...
BTW when does all this have to be done for?Thrifty Gifty February make £20 challenge £21.05/£20.0 -
