    Merry Christmas everyone xx

I was up early to see OH off to work. Have hidden some of youngest daugther's presents for her treasure hunt in the morning, just have a few to do tonight after she is in bed.

Eldest daughter came round yesterday afternoon with the grand children and they had their presents, the boys loved their football teddies and grandaughter loved the Barbie stuff and dolls. One funny thing though, I gave them all some reindeer pooh and grandaughter had a mouthful, the boys said to her what are you eating and she showed them the packet, they started saying errgh your'e eating poo and laughing, she got all embarrassed but was shaking her head saying no she isnt, but her face was going a bit strange so I thought I would help her and said to her dont worry, its only chocolate, when the reindeers do a poo it magically changes into chocolate, thinking it would make her laugh. Instead she started to spit the chocolate out lol, her Mum had to grab a tissue quick, then she started crying her eyes out. The boys were in absolute fits of giggles. Still, she soon got over it and started to see the funny side of it but I noticed after she had gone that the rest of her bag of poo was left on the side bless.

Not a lot to do today now the presents are hidden, got to cook the meat for tomorrows dinner but will mostly be helping youngest daugther with her art homework, she still has loads to do by the time she goes back to school and as she hasnt been well we have lost a week already.

See you all on the other thread, hope you have a lovely weekend and love you all, Rufus xx

    Hello all :j
    What a day !!
Went to see GP this morning with OH as his leg was so swollen.............GP says its deep vein thrombosis -something to do with him not being able to walk normally  So now he's got to have injections every day to thin his blood, GP is arranging appt for scan at hospital -further visit to GP in Jan.........then another in Jan to hospital ! Nurse came up and showed OH how do do the injections himself (he had one at surgery this morning and the nurse would call every day but OH said he'd do it)........got a number to ring if we have a problem.
OH's appt at hospital fracture clinic has been brought forward to 10th Jan (ooops........clashes with soc.services meeting...........tough..........they cancel at last minute enough times......OH is more important)
Foster daughter called round......very weepy about what happened with her dogs, her arms covered in bandages. Wants to cancel Christmas but her OH won't here of it. She feels (so do I at the minute) that there's so much pressure to have a 'jolly time' and sometimes 'life' gets in the way of it. Well if the queen can have two birthdays I'm sure we can have Christmas when we want...........This one will be a weekend that just has a few pressies thrown in and a tree.
Sorry if I sound a bit glum.............after the end of last year I thought this one would be different......not so it seems.
Never mind...........we'll do the best we can to grin our way through it and hope you all have a brilliant time:T
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
