I've got 2 of those sets on order, ones for a 6yr old, the other a 5 yr old, reckon they'd be ok for a 6yr old- or dads new play thing!!

Wow Everyone is getting some great bargins and well on the way to an organised year.
The snow here is slush and deadly ice:eek: but the kids are back in school and things are getting back to normal slowly. I had to go and dig my Mums Car out on saturday for her which took ages and with DS2 (who's 6) helping me...or should that be hindering me lol.... but at least she can get off her drive now and she can get to school today.
Need to go do some shopping today (hope to get some bargins), and pay my rent, then back to finish touching up the decorating the kitchen, we managed to put the new flooring down in the kitchen yesterday (very MSE...£32 for tiles and glue:j) and it looks great!!
Stay safe everyone in the snow

Where's the Coffee?? Show me the Coffee NOW!!0 -
Good luck with the bargains Sarah, the savings seem to be much better in store if you can find anything. One woman in M&S was haggling on sale prices and the SA was asking the manager if they were going to reduce them anymore and they happily did, I thought it too cheeky to ask but they seem to want to shift old stock quickly. Also BHS is great for cards and at 50p per pack can't go wrong.
I can't decide whether to go into town today to get some bargains or just settle with the ones I have so far, oooo what to do?!
Be careful on that ice and slush its very slippery almost broke my neck at the weekend, shopping of courseComping wishlist for 2017
1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuffThe more you put into life, the more you get out0 -
My BHS order arrived yesterday and Lloyds pharmacy today - I'm really impressed with the items.
I'd ordered the cupcake lipgloss set from BHS and like OP said they were not worth the original price of £8 as they are very small, but at £2 in the sale it makes them a nice extra for Christmas.
I've had a e-mail from Amazon with pre-order DVDs at under £10 - well worth a look - the Gruffalo is on there for £6.98 release date 22nd March - nice for the kids if they enjoyed it at Christmas!Thrifty Gifty February make £20 challenge £21.05/£20.0 -
Hi,
I bought a Glass Tankard and Bottle of beer in BHS today, Reduced from £12 to £5. Great bargain, but it has a Best Before Date of April 2010. ! What does anyone think about that, personally I didn't think that the beer would go off, its a sealed bottle. Any thoughts on my "bargain" ?
June 2010 - 11/56 lbs Weight to lose before May 2011.

As I was expecting our second baby in december I decided to just get gift vouchers for everyone this year (except for the kids) which I saved up for by doing surveys, selling on ebay etc; But wanting to make it a bit more personal I bought each person a purse or wallet (car boots/ebay bargains) and put the gift card/voucher in it... so I saved a fortune on wrapping paper as well as the items were small and there was no lugging about or storing of huge pressies.
Don't think I'll get away with doing that again this year but it was great while having a newborn around as it was all sorted and organised very easily.
We got vouchers for my sis and her family this year cos they are doing work in their house and wanted help towards that. The vouchers were credit cards sized and I made one of these http://www.articlesbase.com/videos/5min/77393492 and they loved it. Was very easy cos all just folded0
