My OH is worse than any woman, He loves shopping, he drags me out to shops and he can browse for England!!! Drives me crazy sometimes!!!

Oh, and another thing, he won't buy anything if he thinks he can get it somewhere else cheaper!

Sarah That's just what I needed - a stig soap on a roap. Have been looking on Ebay but they're over £5.00 plus p+p. I needed it for OH birthday present. :D

Have bought him Stig remote control cars, stig pen. stig cup (was also going to get toothbrush but someone bought it on a buy it now while I was trying to do the same). The stig notebook from BHS I had ordered got cancelled so I didn't get it. Grrrrr
Tesco's MILES and MILES away. Double Grrrrr

What brilliant bargains - you did well!!! :T

Janebo - asda by us sold ALL the dressing gowns reduced last week, not sure if it was half price though.

They Had the stig soap in one Tesco's but not in the one I went to on saturday, I'm doing top Gear hampers for OH's Friends for their birthdays as I managed to get 4 top gear books in Homebargins before Xmas, if you dont find them in tescos and really want one Play.com have them in stock for £2.79 with free postage here

Afternoon everyone, been busy on Dooyoo all morning. Have reached my next £20 so as long as I get the Amazon voucher ok I will have £52 worth. Have had a look on Amazon and they have the complete set of Knight Rider on there for £47.88 which is something my OH would love so I will get it for his birthday in August. That will be a big one out the way. If I can get some more vouchers before June I will get my daughter a camera from there too. That will be the two biggest presents I have to get sorted.

Managed to find a scarf to match ExMIL's top I bought in Bon Marche yesterday for £1. Might cover her a note book to go with it in co-ordinating paper and get her a nice pen. Will look out for anything else the same colours (rust and white) to go with it.

The next birthday I have to get a present for is my son and his birthday isnt until May so plenty of time to look for a bargain. Will probs get him something from Sports Direct as I know he likes their clothes.

Have sewed together one lot of the rounds for my recycled magazine bag, its looking ok so far and I am pleased with it, will take a pic in a bit of what its like so far. Need to get some zips in and work out how to sew it in place. The ones they sell on the US Ebay site have zips so you can do it, just need to work out the first one then they should be easy enough. I was going to make 6 bags using 5 rounds each but thought it wasnt deep enough so have changed it to 5 bags with 6 rounds each. I have an extra large gold hollographic gift bag upstairs that I am thinking of making the 6th one out of for my eldest daughter instead of magazines.

Snow is going now so I am going up to my town this afternoon to meet my friend for a natter. I have been too scared to venture out on my own while the floor has been slippery but hoping the route from my house to the town and back will be ok today.

We were supposed to be going to the Emirates stadium today for a tour which OH paid for as part of my Christmas present but we have put it off until February when he has another week off seeing as the weather has been so bad. I am hoping I can buy myself soemthing nice with the money I have saved up in my £2 coin tin. Think I have about £40 in there at the moment.

Anyway, I'm going to dig my camera out and take a photo of my bag so far. Catch you later xx

Incase none left at Asda, don't know if u have a Netto nearby, on Mon 18th, theyve got ladies and gents bath robes, says various sizes, colours, usually means pot luck, but may be worth a try xx

Thanks for that - looked in Asda and they only had a couple, not reduced and not really what I wanted, will try Netto next week and see what they're like.

    Hi Jammy,

Yes I will send you a pic or a link to one when I have finished. In case anyones wondering the sides of the bag are quite thick but the feel of the "fabric" you have made with the paper feels lovely and it is pliable not stiff. The paper is all covered with 2" wide sticky tape so it feels smooth but I think I will be putting labels on to tell the recipriants not to take them out in wet weather.

    thanks so much!!!

maybe you could paint the outside with a glossy varnish for paper? it makes it more durable. I forget the name but I will 100% find out and get back to you!

Got the link for the pink boxes thanks, still out of stock here tho :(
